I wonder what Loki's game is in TDW? I think that he is playing a long con, pretending to betray Thor and then he will eventually stab Malekith in the back. Also, he must be absolutely terrified that Thanos is coming for him.

Don't know if any other fangirl/boy in here feels the same way but just being exposed to so much Hiddles makes it hard to live a normal life. Dating guys just isn't feasible when no one can quite measure up to the uber attractibility of Tom. To me Tom is like a prime cut of beef and other guys are like those frozen wafer steaks, just not the same quality.

Since this seemed to have slipped under radar by all of us. I think similarly. I still think Malekith's intentions are to release Surtur. Loki will probably egg him on to an extent, but won't realize the ERROR until Surtur is released. I'm sure Loki will be pulling some double strings

Speaking of which, do you think that Odin and Thor know who Thanos is. Thor's "who gave this power" line in TA was kind of ambiguous? Was he actually asking who it was, or did he already know and was shocked?

I kind of agree with this. What is interesting to me about Loki is that he will always be the one who goes too far. He isn't satisfied knowing that if he puts his hand over fire it will burn him, he has to do it and see how long it takes to hurt. His nature relishes chaos but he also recognizes when he has gone too far (not that he is ever going to stop doing that). He is the character who dooms himself with his own machinations. Playing chicken with Thanos probably wasn't the best idea.

TLDR: I think Loki will try and manipulate everyone and it will backfire on him.

I think Odin must have had some idea even if he wasn't completely certain. I don't think Thor knew at that time. I do think Thor believed that Loki was working for someone powerful, I just don't think he knew it was Thanos. I think the conversation would have been a little more direct (as in Thor asking Loki if he had a death wish).

Yeah, actually, I have another little theory, I think Loki may be getting tortured by them. I think the Other pulled him into an astral plane. We saw Loki appear there. I think that's what was implied, with the gem thing lighting up on the scepter. They said it was powered by the cube. The cube is a portal, Loki probably was pulled to that realm, Astrally.

Would most CERTAINLY support fiege, or gunn, who said Thanos sort of exists on another plane..

Also, the other said, there will be no where Loki can hide, where Thanos won't be able to find him. we know how smart Thanos is, and the essentially, he's also a telepath and has a strong mind, maybe Thanos is mentally torturing Loki astrally .

The fact that Loki didn't answer Thor makes me thinks Thor would know who it was if Loki said who it was and Loki was avoiding answering

I'm guessing that Loki is keeping mum about Thanos because he fears being put in the time out chamber with Volstag's kids.
