TOMB RAIDER being Re-booted!

I could totally wrong but I can not see this being a 2017 release. Maybe 2018.

And if it's a 2017 release, they'll have a window to film it with Daisy if she chooses to be in the film.

On Tomb Raider: Daisy Ridley was never a real thing, that was a trussed up story. But Cara Delevigne was in contention for the role.

I think she's a good pick. It's a videogame movie so the chance of it being good are slim but it should give her mainstream exposure. If she's good in it she'll survive it sucking...as long as it's not a Catwoman level disaster.

Great to see Alicia as Lara Croft. I prefer her to Daisy Ridley. I prefer Alicia to Angelina Jolie. She looks a little more exotic than a typical Brit though. I wonder how is her British accent.

I'm sure she should be able to, if that's the direction they take. Gal Gadot was able to and she was very slender.

I hope this propels Alicia to the big leagues and is better received than Angelina's version.

BTW, this is the 2nd time they've not gotten a British actress for the role. It's like getting British actors for the American Spider-Man.

Of course she will put on muscle, that's not even a question. I hope that she is allowed to bring some humanity to the character, I was never fond of Jolie's performance nor the characterization of Croft in those awful early 2000's films.

WB is all in on this film i heard rumors that tomb raider is one of WB's summer event films of 2017
