No, but I did hear a track Johnny Cash sang with Alice...which was wicked.Calendar Man said:Hey did you hear those tracks where Maynard sang with Alice?

My friend (who's really big on progmetal and theory based stuff) said his drumming was boring, pretentious, and uneventful. Or something like that. Like, he solo'd and it was half an hour of blobby pseudo classical piece type thing. I've never seen them in concert, and his drumming is fine on the albums.Victor Garber said:Seriously? Danny Carey OWNS!! I never heard him make a single mistake

Disturbed I can take or leave...they've done some embarassingly bad stuff, and some awesome stuff. Awesome stuff like some of their recent album, and a live cover of "Walk". Embarassing stuff like their previous album and their cover of "Shout" by Tears for Fears.jaguarr said:I've got an mp3 of Tool and Disturbed together playing "I'm Killing You Now" that absolutely rocks.

But a duet like that could work.
Unfortunately, consistency in most popular hard rock today is hard to come by.jaguarr said:Yeah, when they're good they're good, but when they suck...they SUCK!

I don't know how you can call yourself metal, and then record a cover like THAT.Wilhelm-Scream said:At least it's hilarious.
That really seemed a joke you'd see on a Christopher Guest type movie about HardCoreNuMetalExtremeDark bands of today...lol
