Checking my list again.. it's pretty bad :down
 
Festival releases don't count!

Anyway I don't think I've done an actual list in order, here goes...

1. Inglorious Basterds
2. The Hurt Locker
3. Bad Lieutenant: Port of Call New Orleans
4. Up in the Air
5. District 9
6. The Fantastic Mr Fox

And those are the only bonafide good movies I saw in 09

It was original enough to not repeat itself but it wasn't as good as the first one.. and the ending.. oh boy :doh: I did not like the end..

I read an overview online, and the idea of
a demonic posession
is definitely cringe-worthy compared to the somewhat realistic nature of the first. Though, like you said, it does sounds different enough to the point in which it re-treads old ground, I'll give it that.
 
Huh? The ending of the first one hinted at demonic possession too didn't it?
 
The idea of demonic possession, exorcism and all that is not that bad like the acting :down

Like I said, they went a somewhat original way with this one: half the movie is from the SWAT team view, the other half from some kids who were fooling around in the next building.. but the acting.. the lead from the first movie does not deliver like the first time.. and the priest..
