I should add the Baby Assassins movies as a special note, as they are not exactly 2024 movies, but dear god, do I love them. I too, would consider using a smoke bomb to avoid running into apartment neighbors.

Baby Assassins 2 is technically a 2024 movie in the US. That's how I decide what year a movie is. Their proper release either in theaters, streaming or direct-to-video. Festival dates are the devil.
