Toy Story 4

Yeah no movie needs justification to exist as the justification is always money. The question is whether it was worth it to do another one and based on the reviews and probably box office, the answer is yes.

Saw it last Wednesday, unbelievably good. It's one of those situations where Pixar defies expectations like the second and third films.
Sounds fantastic to me! Without spoiling, is the ending as sad as what I've been hearing?

Might be seeing this on Friday!! Glad to hear it's not as disjointed as the trailers made it appear.

Sister rented out a theater to watch this for my nephews fourth birthday, so I’ll be seeing this on Sunday.

Your sis be making it rain. :o

Yeah I’ve heard of buying a bunch of seats together. But a whole theater? Damn.

It might be a small theater that's mostly used for renting out to groups. One of my local theaters has a special room for parties that only seats about 75 people.

I liked this movie a lot. The toys looking for affection and a purpose just relate to me so much. Its a really cute and heartwarming movie.

I can start by saying this is a good movie. I enjoyed it. I don't think it lives up to the expectations and the franchise. The tone is there, the humor, the animation (my God, isn't that one of the most beautiful stuff you've ever seen??) and yes it even has the heart in the right place.
However, I can't help but feeling like there was something missing, and after thinking about it for a while, my instinct tells me
there wasn't enough of the original gang. The new toys are fine (Forky is really good), but the lack of Potato Head, Slinky, Rex, the aliens... it didn't feel right. There's a moment near the end in a group hug that hits perfectly and I was like "THAT'S what I was missing!".
Overall, a nice epilogue to the trilogy that doesn't quite recaptures what the previous ones did.

I hired out a whole theatre (screen) for my feature film's premiere, cost around £1,500 ($1,900) but so worth it.

This is one of the best films of the year. Worthy successor to 3, which is my favorite of the series. But this could be my 2nd favorite. This one spoke to me

Just seen this. After Finding Dory (which I just found to be okay) and Incredibles 2 (which I found to be underwhelmingly mediocre), this movie is the best Pixar sequel we've gotten in a while.

I absolutely loathed Forky in the marketing and was fully expecting him to be grating, but good god, he was not. Very adorable and sweet character. Loved his father-son dynamic with Woody.

I do think this might be the end for the franchise (theatrical movies at least) due to the ending. I can't see where they would go from here.

I mean basically the whole franchise was
Woody's arc from being a selfish prick to finally realizing what he was created for...to help toys and kids bond.

I found all the new characters remarkably charming, especially Duke Kaboom. Keanu Reeves fans should love Duke Kaboom.

Forky was a definite highlight. There were many highlights. I have high praise for this one.

Forky has one of the best lines in the film with Woody.

I absolutely loved Woody's arc in this movie.

Him choosing to stay with Bo Peep (thus making a choice for what makes him happy for once rather than others) and him giving away his vocal box to Gabby showed how far he's come as a character.

His arc in Toy Story 4 is actually a lot more complex than that.

Yeah, that's abridged.
