Toy Story 4

I don't think that's the general consensus.
If not, that's only because of bias against it that makes people disagree with my correct opinion that it's better.

That's how it works when people disagree with me, from what I've read on here about Rotten Tomatoes. :o

Doesn't have to be. It's my opinion. But that isn't even a close call for me. Better overall story, a much better B-plot (the tank was always a bore to me), superior animation, a superior collection of characters and imo one of the greatest moments of pure emotion in all of Pixar. And that is saying something, considering it is Pixar.
Dory for me was WAAAAY better than Nemo.
Okay. Just be aware that you guys are wron-uh I mean, in the minority on that.

I love Finding Nemo. Finding Dory to me will always be the movie in which its characters jump from one water container to another without dying (that's... not how saltwater fish work) and that ends with an octopus driving a truck. And that's pretty much all I remember about it.

Easily one the worst Pixar movies. 7.8/10 too much freshwater.

Well RT agrees with me that Finding Dory is inferior to the original, which means that in this specific instance they're right. :o

I am sure Dory's ability to read stopped you from enjoying the first film as well. :o

Snow White with squirrels washing up and birds loading the washing machine must be a right mind-f**k....

No because reading is something that can be learned.

In the first movie they even made a point to show Nemo holding his breath while he was in the sewer... that's because he's a saltwater fish and can't survive in freshwater. But in Finding Dory? Eh, all water is the same.

Also, an octopus drives a truck in the movie.

She's a fish...

I mean, I think I could see an octopus driving more than a fish reading. A definite...erm, stretch, but if it flails around in a driver's seat enough...

I think we can all agree both are far more realistic then toys coming to life.

She's a fish...
A fish that can talk. She knows the meaning of words. It's really not that hard to believe... sort of.

Are we seriously having these points discussed ? :wow:
Yes. Not my fault that some people have a problem with me poking fun at silly movies featuring driving octopuses and fish that can't die.

Let's just drop this argument. The world agrees with me that Finding Nemo is the superior talking fish movie and that's enough for me.

I had a weird dream last night. I dreamt that the world's only three Finding Dory fans got upset at me for making fun of the movie. It was really bizarre

Anyways, we're now 80 reviews in and still not a negative one. Armond White, we're waiting for your hot take.

Someone didn't take others stating their opinion well at all...

Maybe it was the absurdly of complaining about salt and fresh water and an octopus driving while discussing movies where fish are capable of reading and talking to other species?

1) No one was complaining. I was mocking the inferior and already forgotten sequel to Finding Nemo
2) By your logic, you'd be okay with a Lion King movie where Simba was able to breathe underwater and drive a jeep. I mean, he's a talking lion! Who expects logic from movies about talking animals.

For what is worth, I think Anna is more interesting than the driving octopus.

Feels good to have no negative reviews yet. Will definitely see this on theaters now.

I'll be seeing this thursday night. I don't wanna wait until friday haha

I've now seen more than one critic claim that the movie, while good, doesn't justify its existence, to which I can only say... huh? How is being (apparently) very good not reason enough for a movie to exist.

Personally I can't wait to watch it. I know I've already said this but I'm so glad we're getting a regular villain this time around.

You can say the same thing about the last two movies.
