You know they're using the name Devastator for ROTF.

Which doesnt change the fact that the tank in the first fill was named Devastator.

Its a simple provable fact.

I never read the novel adaptation, because the novel adaptation of a film makes no sense to even read.

Besides, that's your opinion though, you can call him Devastator, I'll just still call him Brawl. He's Brawl to me, Devastator is the combination of six or seven Constructicons. Which will be in Revenge of the Fallen.

Bay should just do the wisest thing and edit his name to be called Brawl in the first film. As the writers WROTE for the screenplay/story.

If there was a Devastator in the first film and a different 1 in the 2nd film you now have 2 characters by the name of Devastator.

Just look at what he's doing to Megatron in the 2nd film.When has Megatron willing followed an other???

the way i see it, "brawl" is the name that most of the hardcore fans call him, and "that tank guy" is the name that most of the casual movie fans call him. end of story. if they explain why there are 2 devastators that's what i'll call him. devastator. but until than, he's brawl to me. end of that story.

it was a mistake in the fact that his name was originally intended to be brawl. it wasn't a mistake in that micheal bay changed it to devastator on purpose. so it's no wonder so many people get confused.
