Exactly. And considering energy played such an important and recurring role in the original cartoon, comic, and backstories, its ommission from the movie seems more like it was done on-purpose, rather than a simple "plot hole."

I must reference Reign of Starscream again...

In, I believe the second book of it, Barricade refers to energon and energy being the same thing within this movie's continuity of TF. I have no clue if they're regarded as the same thing before, so I'm just stating that like it's new, lol.

But the writers for these movies are trying to reduce all the terms it seems.

Energon Cube/All Spark seems to be the same.

A Transformer's "spark" is created from the All Spark.

You must destroy the spark to destroy the TF.

Or cut the heads off, ala Bonecrusher. So, it seems Transformers could be, in fact, descendants of vampires. Yep.

And I would say not due to the fact that the loss in energy was the direct reason why Megatron was frozen in ice in the first place.

Its essential to the script even thou it was omitted from the final product.

With out the depleted energy excuse Megatron being frozen in ice doesnt make a lot of sence since he was capable of withstanding the cold of space travel..

It looks like Sam, Mikaela and Leo running away...and the YouTube description says Isabel Lucas, [BLACKOUT]so is Alice the "pretender"? It would make sense for her to be it though, she does go to Sam's college. Dumb though, to put in Leo in the movie for Mikaela's story...but maybe he's a pretender too? I just bought SET Magazine, a brazillian magazine about movies, TV and DVD, and it feattured an article about Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen with some interestinf info on it:

- As a part of his "Misinformation" campaign, Michael Bay spread misleading rumors, told the actors to perform inexistent lines and even distribued false pics on the Internet.

- The beggining and the end of the movie we're filmed on Cairo, that emulates Egypth.

- Bumblebee is more serious in this movie, because Sam abandons him.

- The Twins are the new comic reliefe. Their real names are Trax and Beat. Or is it Skid and Wheels? Or Maybe Skid and Mudflaps? No one knows.

- Sam and Mikaela's relationship has come to that stage we're the excitement is starting to end.

- Bay swore Megatron won't return, and confirmed Devastator, the mega-Decepctions that's made of smaller Decepticons bodies.

- Shia's hand injury was incorporated to the plot.
