That report screams fake. Sam's older brother...who was never mentioned prior? And Sam's ex? Wouldn't that be Michela? Plus it's care of movie hole which isn't really known for dependibilty. My best guess is it was made up or it's a foiler put out by the Bay camp.

Neat twist surrounding the action movie Transformers 2, whose production will be based in Philly for the better part of June. I hear that director Michael Bay and crew also will shoot in Bethlehem, Pa., which will double as a city in the Far East. (A twist in the notion of sending American jobs overseas.)

It's looking like there will be heaps of different locations for TF2, I'm pretty sure Egypt was also on the cards for locations so there will be some middle east action happening (same place where Scorponok was last seen). Not sure about sending American's to such a volitile region.

JUst so everyone here knows, Bethlehem, PA is in Amish country. But it does have a very large steel plant. As for passing for a city in the far east, I seriously doubt that.

I'm from Bethlehem and from my experience living there for the past 17 years, it doesn't look much like the far east. Of course they could just create sets or something to make it look like that. If they're filming in the summer, I'm going to try to get an extra part. I wonder if any of the actors will be coming there.

To be fair, it was never said that Sam didn't have a brother or never had a girlfriend before Mikaela.

Sam - teenage male, somewhat nerdy, but ultimately heroic.

Miguela Barns - teenage female, Sam's love interest.

Cpt William Lennicks - 30s male, leader of the military.

Maggie - female, really hot, really smart, works as a codebreaker for the government.

John Kellar - 50's/60's male, US Secretary of State.

Glen Whitman - 20's male, technogeek, comic relief.

Officer Jorge Figueroa AKA "FIG": 20's, Male, Dominican by way of the Louisiana Bayou. Chief Warrant officer in the Army. Spirited fellow who loves to sing. Close team member of Lennox.

Glen's Grandma: Female, African-American, 50's/60's/70's. A bit off her rocker. This feisty Grandma keeps tabs on what Glen is up to (2 scenes).

Mr. Hosney: Male. Caucasian. 40's. Sam's History teacher. Bored, over it kind of guy (1 scene).

Big Rhonda: Female, African-American, 30's/40's. Feisty, assertive pawn shop owner (1 scene).

Bobby Bolivia: Male. 30's/40's. Any ethnicity. This guy could sell ice to an Eskimo. Tries to get Sam to buy a car. Your typical wheelin' dealin' used car salesman (1 scene).

Mahfouz: 13 years old, Bedouin boy. (Bedouin is an Arab of any of the nomadic tribes of the Arabian, Syrian, Nubian, or Sahara deserts). He loves chocolate and gets excited when the soldiers bring him some. He lives in a Village close to where Lennox and his team are stationed, and has befriended the soldiers.

BTW- the same members of the DOn Murphy board who are in the industry have confirmed the most recent casting call has been sent out to legitimate agencies- they did the same with the above, as well. So it's real.

Anyway, for the most part it sounds like most of those will go by very quickly.

And I'm willing to bet Tyrese will return and Josh Duhamel will not, as Tyrese is the more avowed TF fan and seems to have less on his plate.

Yeah, i hope this will at least be a little darker. Seeing as how they may be dealing more with what's going on on Cybertronian, and more Decepticons, i don't see that as a hard stretch. This can be the 'Empire Strikes Back' of the series.

The Air Force Times reports:

The Air Force is looking for airmen to appear as extras this summer in the sequel to 2007's "Transformers."

The production company wants to use service members as much as possible and is forming two teams.

Projected dates for the Shanghai Team are June 2-4 and July 22-25. Projected dates for the Forrest Team are June 16-17, June 23, Aug. 22 and Sept. 15-16. Volunteers must be available for all the dates the team is scheduled to shoot.
