They're really stepping up the action this is info is correct.

20 robots measn that you wont get character development. you just wont. because you have the humans. sorry. but it wont work.
they need to have more robots but they need to use those robots only for fighting.

True but it is an ensemble so some characters will always be shortchanged.

I feel like the main foe of this film will be Starscream, though I wouldn't be surprised if the cliffhanger involves the return of Megatron or a hint at something greater (Unicron comes to mind).

That is what I'm thinking as well.

I hope this movie doesn't ******* Megs screentime like they did in TF1. I mean Megatron is as important as Prime in my opinion. They owe him at least a fair amount of screen time in this one, regardless of who is running the Decepticons in TF 2.

I think the best approach would be to bring him back early on, but hasn't fully recovered from his injures and plays more of a behind-the-scenes role until the climax.

You think thats bad, there was a guy at the Don Murphy message board who wanted to make Soundwave a floating tape deck.

They could make Soundwave a Humvee with a sonic cannon ontop, though maybe that's too science fiction-y. Still, you'd figure the military would be ready for more Decepticon attacks with advanced weaponry.

So long as the ones who are not front and center get at least a few lines, i'll be happy. 10/10 sounds pretty good. With the majority of the Decepticons dead from TF1, see can expect a whole new line up of them, with the exception of SS and hopefully Megatron.

Now that it's likely Jazz will be back, that means we're only getting 5 new Autobots. I hope for the most part they're from the G1 line-up. But knowing Hasbro, they'll want ALL new bots so they can sell more toys.

I wonder if any of the toys that accompanied the movie, but didn't make it into the movie itself, show up in TF2? There was quite a few i saw like Payload, and Thundercracker on the Decepticon team that werereleased as part of the movie line, but weren't on screen.
