This is exactly what I've been *****ing about in the negatron thread. This movie sounds like it's trying to do way too much. The entire story while watching the film will be lost between too many things going on and spreading the character development/interaction too thin.

The autobots and decepticons had very little on screen interaction in the first movie, there is still so much that should be developed and explored before they're suddenly "friends" for half a movie.

If history is anything to judge by, the majority and rumors during TF1 turned out to be true. I thought TF1 was fun, at best. I was glad to see Optimus Prime on the big screen, but there was so much that could have been done better.

I hope the rumors floating around right now is garbage, but some (if not most) likely isn't. I am not going to subject myself to any big spoilers this time around, but AICN described the opening scene as having humor "in the same vein" as the first one. Ugh. This doesn't help my anxiety over how TF2 is going to turn out.

That's true, but Bay said he was purposely gonna throw out false info to confuse us; i personally think he's full of ****, and like i stated before, is using reverse psychology on us. What we think is false may actually be true.

If they don't want us to know something, then just say, "We can't discuss that". I don't understand why Bay is doing this **** to begin with, other than giving himself more work manufacturing this b.s. With all the leaked info surrounding TF1, it sure didn't hurt the movies success, and there's no doubt the sequel will be even bigger.....

Most of the b.s. will manufacture itself. The fanboys will start rumors, and all Bay needs to do is give a wink, and it's a good as gospel. Most of the false info get created by folks like us on these boards. We all remeber the Spider-Man & Batman boards leading up to their films releases.

Rob Orci was asked if the traielr for TF:ROTF might air before Fringe (Not entirely sure what that is, is that the JJ Abrams thing?)...

He replied that Eagle Eye might also be a possiblility....

Not a definate confirmation of when we'll get our first proper look..... but it's a start...

We should get a teaser soon. The first teaser was in front of the third Pirates film (or the second? whichever one came out summer of 06), and that was a year before TF came out. My guess would be a teaser with Eagle Eye, and then a teaser-trailer with Bond in November.

Eagle Eye is a Paramount movie and was my guess a few weeks back, it looks like it will be a big one and putting the first TF2 trailer with it just elevates it's anticipation.

If people havn't already read the post in "The Fallen" thread then you may want to check this out. In short, IDW Comics have a copy of the script for TF: Revenge of the Fallen and have leaked some info about the movie:

- Soundwave and Arcee are in the movie
- The Fallen is the main villan of the movie
- Sector 7 has been redeveloped into some kind of new team (probably NEST)
- The start of the movie opens right in the middle of a battle
- Other fan favorites are in the movie

MTV talked to IDW Publishing, which is working on a five-part prequel miniseries to Michael Bay's Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen titled "Transformers: Destiny" that will bridge the gap between the first and second movie. What IDW Publishing says confirms the rumor that "The Fallen" in the title is indeed the villain:

"[We're going to] explore the background of The Fallen — the main villain of the movie — as well as expand on the 'Reign of Starscream' story that we're doing and tie everything in to what this next movie is going to be," explained writer Chris Mowry, who partners on the book with artist Alex Milne. "The next movie starts out with just tons of action and there’s obviously going to be a lot of questions, so we’re hoping to answer some of those beforehand."

Never read the Reign of SS story, but i guess this confirms that SS is in charge of the Decepticons.
