Well, it was used in two(if not three) places throughout the 2007 movie, so I'd say it's highly likely. But why do you say you feel robbed by the small clip that was played with the Blackout transformation?

from what i remember the only real clear audio of the transformation sound was used when Blackout transformed...the others had other sound effects mixed in. i am talkin' pure transforming sound effects.

***Fav. time it was used was the deeper, slowed down version when Devestator was forming in the '80's film...hope they keep that for when he shows up in this one.***

It looks awesome, but it'll be expensive to buy the leader-class of both Optimius Prime and Jetfire so they can be combined, though.

Just wondering if anyone has heard any news/updates on the rumors that this film will be similar to X2 United in that it will be Autobots vs Decepticons part of movie then they will join forces(temporary of course) to battle the Fallen. If this is true then I bet Devastator will battle the Fallen and not the autobots at all, the individual Constructicons might fight the autobots but I have a feeling all these Combiners in the film will be to defeat the Fallen, just my theory is all.

The novelization of the movie. It takes 100 pages of descriptions of a sandstorm until the first egg appears.

BTW, they DID - omg, they DID! - a novelization of Lord of the Rings. The first one. And no, it wasn't by Tolkien, d'oh.

I read Alan Dean Foster's book version of the first Transformers movie, and I actually liked it. It gave a little more background on some of the characters, like Maggie, so they were not as flat and 2 dimensional as in the movie. It also had a nice part were Megatron referred to humans as "INSECTS." If he does as well as the last one, I will probably like the new novelization for this one.

Of course I could just be a geek and love any book, but I do admit my geekiness.

The scene in the forest looks like Prime is kneeling in front of Megatron, this could mean that he goes to the Decepticon camp to plead with Megs for a temp alliance to deal with the Fallen.

The allspark needs the power of a destroyed star to recharge itself. So the ancient TF (Fallen included) would send out primitive TFs to find a suitable sun to use. Once they found one they would build a harvester or "Sun Crusher" on a nearby planet to destroy said sun and siphon it's power into the All Spark recharging it. Guess Fallen will be trying to recharge the fragments of the allspark by trying to destroy our sun.
