ok guys....i just ran across something on youtube....it's been out for a while and i'm sure most of you have heard it...but i just found it and it is quite possibly one of the greatest pieces of music i've ever heard:

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aESWaQ-9k6M&mode=related&search=

it's apparently a remixed version of a theme from Requiem For A Dream that was used on a lord of the rings 2 trailer.....i haven't been able to find this exact piece anywhere but it's absolutely EPIC...which fits nicely with Jablonsky's masterpiece :woot:

You mean the bit in the tunnel?

Not sure of the exact name of the track but it's from Kill Bill.

It's an old remix from the year 2002-2003, used a lot of different trailer sample made by Fatboy Roberts ;)

Did anyone see that collection already?

______Notation!!!:_____
YTV = YouTube version
PSCT = promo score track
OSCT = official score track

YTV Sam Flares It (00:54) = maybe OSCT 18 - Sam on the Roof ???

YTV Freeway Fight (00:40) = looks like (maybe) PSC Track 11 - Soldiers Retreat - Take the Cube - Megatron vs Optimus (01:19-...)

YTV We're Locked In (02:02) = ???

YTV Bumblebee Captured (05:08) is longer than on the Promo CD.
Details look so:
00:00-00:44 unknown theme detail
00:45-02:18 PSCT 08 - When Feds Attack - Bumblebee Captured (00:00-01:31)
02:19-02:47 unknown theme detail
02:48-05:08 PSCT 08 - When Feds Attack - Bumblebee Captured (01:32-03:48)
YTV You're a Soldier Now (02:39) = PSCT 11 - Soldiers Retreat/Take the Cube/Megatron vs Optimus (00:00-02:40).

YTV Skorpinok (05:36) = unknown theme detail (02:00) + PSCT 04 - Skorpinok (00:00-03:36).

YTV Why Are You Here? (02:49) = maybe is OSCT 11 - Cybertron (01:46?) & OSCT 13 - Whitwicky (01:03?). (?-Not shure!)

YTV Main Frame Tampering (01:47) = can be OSCT 05 - Frenzy

YTV Base Attack (02:05) = PSCT 01 - Bogey Approach/Under Attack/Transformer Takes Aim (01:15 - 03:24)

Who knows more than that, tell us ;)

Holy Crap are all these gonna be on the score album?

Not shure!

I don't know (exactly) that the first 3 (YT video version) tracks under which names could appear on the official Score CD....

aaahhhh those are awesome....thats excellent footage he's using too...looks dvd quality

One week! :woot: Pre-ordered it on iTunes, I'm not one for CDs anymore, but I still pay for all my stuff, because I don't want this kind of thing happeneing again. :o

well, it looks like ther ewere several promo cuts, in regards to the discrepency in the youtube tracks above. there's the 30 mins, what leaked everywhere, a 78 min and then a 2CD version. The latter is usually for the members of the acadamy to review the score to vote on. Being a score buff I tend to look for these promo scores online. having already purchased the offcial soundtrack, as I enjoy the music immensley. why all film scores don;t get the LOTR expanded score treatment, i don't know. until then bootleg releases is it. note to studios: the 2 CD's are already cut, why not just sell them/ they did it with the gladiator score, where the second CD was a nice collection of theme experimentation. I would gladly pay for these.

check out the score from D-war at the 2 min mark at this clip... can anyone hear the "Autobots decend" escalating motif?

...also from jablonsky.. a must for you transfomer's fans!

Really dissapointing i must say. It's exactly the same!! Very.. very poor composing skill he has shown!
I'd always liked Jablonsky's scores but, he's starting to run into the "Media Ventures Inertia". I mean, composing everything exactly the same. Hans Zimmer is doing it too (you must hear "Hello Beastie" from POTC 2 and the OST from "King Arthur". There's a part that it's exactly the same, notation by notation!)

When i first hear Jablonsky was the composer for TF score, i was really happy. Finally, i'd love the score but, he's not the same great composer that created the "Steamboy Score" i.e.

Dissapointed...
