I'm a little bummed that they didn't include the piece at the very beginning of the film where the all spark is tumbling through space with the Optimus voice over. That's one of the best parts of the score.

its the autobot theme. through the movie they used sometimes different version of the autobot theme.
this is an official movie score.

i expect in one year tha tsomeone will leak on the net the whole music fro mthe movie like it happened with superman and batman begins. those leaked scores had every music fro mthe movie.

I know Superman Returns had an complete score leak online, but I was only aware of an expanded (aka music cut and put in film order) of Batman Begins which didn't add any new music other than the end titles. Unless I am missing something.

Download the new realplayer application, there's a function where it allows you to download youtube videos. You'd have to convert the video file into just an audio file. Just google it and you'll find those programs.

by the way, has anyone found the transformers score listed on any canadian retail stores like hmv, best buy etc. ? I wasn't able to find any and I'm becoming concerned...

To download a YouTube vid? Naw - it's MUCH easier than that.

1) Go to the YouTube Video you want - like this TF Score one, and copy the web address: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=L-Lcn8vM3vE

2) Go to this website: http://www.youtubex.com/
On the upper right, in the field marked DOWNLOAD, enter the address and click the "Download video" button

At this point you will get a pop up browser window for an aquarium screensaver or something. This is NO BIG DEAL. Just close it. You will now see the YouTubeX site again. At the bottom of the page you will now notice the title of that movie you entered, as well as a screen shot. One of the links to it's right says "download".

3) Left click that link to download and you will be asked to save a file called "get_video". Save it.

4) Add the extension "flv" to your file and now you have it and play it at your leisure with an FLV (flash video) player.

If you don't have one and don't want to "install" anything, there's a simple one (I am using it) here: http://www.wimpyplayer.com/products/wimpy_standalone_flv_player.html

You simply download it, and it's an EXE that when you click, opens up a video viewer. You take your new movie, now called "get_video.flv" and drag and drop it right on the window, sit back, and watch the movie with the score thanks to jablonskyfan.

That should hold you over for a few days - just in time!

BTW - you can do this many times over before you download the movie, just keep entering the new address into the bar and click the button. It will list all the movies on the page at once as you add them.

I forgot to mention something until you posted that list... I know people have already mentioned the difference in track lengths of the Scorpinok theme. Well, I just saw the movie in IMAX again last night (I think that makes 7 times now), and I noticed something right away since I've been watching the YouTube composed tracks... during that scene in the movie there was NO music in the beginning of the sequence. There isn't music when the one soldier gets jabbed by Scorpinok at all - it starts right after that as the soldiers are running down the hill. Whether or not this is different due to the extended version or not - I don't know... but as far as I could tell the Scorpinok chapter did not contain any extensions.

Ideas?

The version of "Scorpinok" on the Promo Cd starts when Lennox says he doesn't want a premium package and tosses the phone to Epps.The youTube version starts right after Donelly(?) is killed and contains the music AND the afore mentioned pauses making an extra 2 minutes of music.From minute 2 onwards is the music as is on the Promo CD.

Yeah, i just got it too and aside a few small cues, most of the good new stuff that's in it - when i say new i'm refering to the original promo CD- has already been released throughthe youtube vids.It's still great stuff as a whole and as a companion to the incoming SCORE CD, but anyone that loves the score will not give up buying it just because this promo is out.The score CD will be the crown jewel of any Transformers 2007 music collection. And there's only 2 more days to go!!!
