BTW, I second the Ironhide in the pool thing... I thought that was all settled on. He goes for a midnight swim, gets caught nekkid by the 'tooth fairy' girl, hides behind the trees, over to the driveway, and then becomes the Topkick. Ironhide kicks some @ss.

oh and by the way, the autobot that rises from the pool, is OPTIMUS PRIME. look close at the legs. they are distinctly red, blue and silver. the director caught me off guard when he transitions to the Black GMC truck.lol

The debate will never end! Hopefully the dvd commentary will clear this up once and for all. And btw, Prime gets his 'blue and red' from the truck he scans, so it wouldn't have any significance on who it is, as whoever it was, was still in their cybertronian mode.

Oh my gosh. I can't wait. I hope October 9th gets here soon. The track of when the Feds Attack Bumblebee is heartbreaking.
The music is so beautiful. I can't wait.

The confusion comes from the fact that they show Prime inbetween the others but he crashes in the field, not the swiming pool, that is Ironhide.Jazz crashes at the stadium and Ratchet near the dinner.
This is confirmed in the novel.
The only thing that makes me scratch my head in this scene, beautiful as it is, is the fact that Sam and Mikaela go down to the place where OP crashes, see him transform and then he just runs away only to meet them later.

I don't think he realizes at the time that Sam and Mikaela are who they are, as they are separated from Bumblebee at the time (BB not having run onto the field but remaining behind on the road/alley). He probably didn't want to take the chance that they weren't just some random onlookers until he could make sure of their identity.

Makes sense. In the novel, BB clear the way down to where OP crashed for Sam and Mikaela and they reach him just as he scans the truck and changes to his earth body. They come back up to the road where the others soon join them. I actually prefer the way it was done in the movie.
Despite some inconsistencies like this one through out the movie i still say overall its the best movie i've seen in quite some time and way better than i had ever expected a live action Transformers movie to be. M. Bay did a great job and i think the fact S. Spielberg was involved also helped tremendously. I just hope the sequels are at least as good as the first one.

Yeah this is what i thought, Sam and Mikaela were just 2 random people to him at the time.

After uploading the Promo Score, into (approx) 5 different place, the sales rank of the Score CD at Barnes&Noble was falling from (approx) 300 to 5058, and at Amazon from (approx) 100 to 195 !!!! It isn't so funny .

So, be carefully whit this "promo" stuff uploads, because when the final Score Cd proceeds will be not so respective, it can happened, that the double CD Score wouldn't be released before Christmas!!! Nobody wants the 2 CD version

Ok here is why OP crashed in the field and Ironhide in the pool. Think about the scans. Op scanned from a cliff in the middle of nowhere. Ironhide scanned a PARKED truck in a driveway. I think its pretty clear which landed where

That's sad. I'm definitely buying the score. Also, if they release a 2CD version, I'll probably buy that one too. One of my favorite scores of all time.

I'm downloading these until I get the full soundtrack, ya know, just to hold me over until Oct. 9 when the CD is released. These are GREAT!!! I've already ordered the CD from amazon....so no worries!

Hey folks!

I just looked at Amazon.de and see, the price dropped over 30%. The Score now "only" costs 23,99 EURO, delivery stilll up to 4-6 weeks. It´s still much money in comparison to LOTR ROTK, where the Special Edition with Bonus DVD had cost 25,- EUROs.

Listings say it is on rank 284 so that´s IMO acceptable, quiaff?

Let´s see, if the price drops a few EUROs more till 3rd October.
