Okay, since I got this soundtrack yesterday, I cannot put it down. I have listened to it on my way home, while reading the novel last night, while driving in this morning, and thank God for my iPod because now I'm listening to it right this moment.
I was thinking of excuses to tell the officer who would pull me over for speeding (if in fact I ever got caught), but I don't think he/she would understand.
This CD is a triumph in the making for all Transformers fans. Mr. Jablonsky, if you ever google the CD and find this remark in your search, I want to personally thank you for releasing this and composing this great piece of work. Great job! (must remember to go over to Hans Zimmer's web site and post a thanks there.)
This score was definitely worth the wait. But be warned, this is not the music that was in the movie. It is BETTER...WAAAAYYYY better.
It has sad notes that makes the listener feel what the composer is thinking as watching the movie. What I mean is for example, Optimus' theme...it has sad notes, but grand, epic notes that makes him the great leader he is. Bumblebee is another great theme, probably my favorite of them all. The All Spark is another fabulous one.
As said before, Sam at the Lake doesn't really fit, but I listen to it anyways.
But WOW...

I absolutely LOVE this score. It's, in my opinion, the best score since...(dare I say it?)...Lord of the Rings: Return of the King!
Jablonsky's score is on my multiple playlist in my iPod. Oh how I love my iPod....
