I didn't... I always found it more emotional with "Arrival To Earth", "Scorponok", Autobots theme, and "You're a Soldier Now"

I just downloaded the COMPLETE promo score and I STILL do not hear my favorite song from the movie!

It's the scene RIGHT after Glenn (Black guy I think) yells "I need a screwdriver!" It’s where Optimus and Jazz do the 180 on the desert road. The song is similar to Skorpinok, but is a faster, more upbeat version.


Does ANYONE know where I can get this song?

It's the scene RIGHT after Glenn (Black guy I think) yells "I need a screwdriver!" It’s where Optimus and Jazz do the 180 on the desert road. The song is similar to Skorpinok, but is a faster, more upbeat version.


Does ANYONE know where I can get this song?

You can kind of remedy this by taking the original skorpinok track and load it into goldwave, then speed up the tempo to that of the upbeat version.

Well IMO I'd prefer the original version of the soundtrack.
Anyone likes "Optimus"? I really love the flute sound, very emotional and it gives me a peaceful feeling. I think the soundtrack also describes Optimus Prime's character ....

I expected it to be in "Speeding Autos" Because...well...The "autos" are "speeding" in that scene. Also...Since all the tracks are in movie order, that should be the spot where that faster version of Skorpinok plays.

What makes no since, is EVERY song, no matter HOW short, is suppose to me in the promo score...Or at least I thought...

I think it wasn't put on there because it's simply the Scorponok attack theme....

No it wasn't, it was the heroes going into battle theme. It was played when the army mobilized and when the autobots were on their way to battle. And it's not on either soundtrack release, very annoying.

I used "BitZapper" to unzip the promo.

For the sped up version of scorponok - isn't it in Optimus vs. Megatron on the official CD at the 1:58 mark - I think? Probably not.

But if you go to back p.6 of this thread, post #137, there is a link for an "AllSpark" download. At the very end of the track is the clip - music, dialogue, and sound effects - about 30 seconds worth.

No. That’s not the sped up version of Skorpinok...yet...that happens to be my favorite part of that song

i just finished watching the extras DVD and what i've noticed is that they used a lot of music in the background of the docs that isn't in the movie or in the score. One i noticed seems to be a sort of lead up to the hoover dam track, it just fits, and others that just sound as different takes on the movie music including a slight reworking of the Arrival to Earth theme. Anyone else noticed that?

Yes. At 9:16 in that song, IS the sped up version of Skorpinok!

But...it sounds like it was recorded at a MOVIE theater!?

Is there a better version out there. Maybe without the movie sounds?

I'm not sure. If you go back to the beginning of the thread (maybe page 6 and on), there are various posts with files or people who have files that may know of a different version.

Stick to the original score....you lose sight of the essentials with so many!

edit: "Sam by the lake", is clearly a rip-off from American Beauty, but who cares! Its not my favorite anyway Good though.....
