Sci-Fi Tron: Ares with Jared Leto

Oh brother. Hoping against hope. lol

I'll believe it when I see it.

Same thing I said when the sequel was first was rumored to be close to greenlight, same thing I said after the first movie dropped.

Hope it happens though somehow  But I seriously doubt it will

Since it doesn’t seem as though there will be another live-action TRON film, could you ever see doing an animated feature in that world?

MILLSTEIN: We don’t think about it, really. If our filmmakers have a deep connection to it and want to take it in that direction, we could certainly double back around to the live-action group and ask them what they have in mind for it and if it’s something they’d be interested in, but we’d have to see. We don’t really plan our films around those kinds of ideas.

^ Wonder if that'd be fun. I still wanna play Tron: Evolution.

I'd love a sequel. I actually like Tron: Legacy moreso than the original. Hate-avalanche in t-minus...

I dont like the original film. Much prefer Legacy.

Hear, hear. It had a story. And it was immersive. The first one was kind of dull. It's like Disney's Blackhole. Everyone says it's great, but I think it's their nostalgia talking because that movie was weak.

Tron & The Black Hole are 2 sci-fi films I love because of the stories, characters, & yes, nostalgia.

I love Tron, but I can't watch it anymore. Its just so outdated. Legacy was necessary to take the ideas into the modern era and it was glorious.

Yeah I liked the original as a kid, but find it nigh on unwatchable now. Legacy was a great update and I would have loved to see more.

Watched the original two times, it realy has dated terribly. I could never understand the plot completely, seems like in the middle of the games, the plot becomes very incoherent. Legacy has many flaws, like the general lack of enough plot, but it for the most part is coherent, and it's visuals are amazing.

It really is. It's a damn shame they haven't released it on blu-ray.

Love Tron: Legacy and it's a damn shame we're not getting a third installment. The movie was so simple, but just an absolutely treat to immerse oneself in between the visuals and score.

Definitely one of my favorite IMAX 3D movies ever.

Where's my sequel with Cillian Murphy...?

A man of my own heart.
Tron is not outdated, it is vintage, of course if you never saw Tron in the 80', in this case, it can feel outdated and old.

Once again, my heart skipped a beat then sank into the depths of despair.

:csad: :down
