HOLY MOLEY!!:wow:

Hey all waswondering if any one can help me. Was there a 2 disc special edition released for the film on dvd?

For Tron: Legacy? no, the standard dvd is just one disc. You have to get the blu ray to get the 2 discs.

So after more than a month later I should be getting my copy of Tron Legacy/Tron:TOC on bluray in the mail after I get home. :awesome:

Also I just realized that Khameleon808 released the official music video for the remix album of Tron Legacy. It was approved by Disney and Daft Punk/The Glitch Mob. So check it out.

There's been no word of a sequel. At least in terms of being officially greenlit.

Any news on the sequel?

Well right now Joseph Kosinski is helping to direct the Tron: Uprising tv series that is coming out next year and at the same time he is going to shoot his film Oblivion coming this fall. So i'm guessing the sequel talk is in limbo right now. :csad:
But i'm guessing unless Disney is willing to give another director to direct the sequel I thinking we have to wait after 2012 to see any signs of them working on the sequel.

Well even if sequel happens probably would film to mid/late next yr or even the following yr.

Alright, just got done watching Tron Legacy blu ray on my 52 inch HDTV and only thing I can say is...

Also I found this on the interwebs

Tron Car by Timur Bozca

If you are a fan of the Tron Legacy movie that aired last year you should know that it is full with dreaming of the wondrous vehicles. And is no wonder that people would try designing vehicles similar to those in the movie. For example, Timur Bozca, a young and enthusiastic designer has developed the "Tron Car" - a vehicle that seems suitable for any ride on both Earth or Grid.

His car is a combination of the elements found in the movie: it combines a glossy black body with blue neon lines on either side of the car. The car sits on 20" wheels that are also highlighted by blue neon lines.

The concept’s dimension are 4000 x 2000 x 1550 mm and is comes from the future it is an electronic vehicle. The car runs on four electronic Hub Motors that take their power from both battery and power units for charging and storing energy.

And you will be happy to know that this is a family car: it offers interior room for four people.

i am not 100% sure but i think that if the studio hires someoen to wrtitte a movie that doesnt automatic mean that its a greenlight.a lot of movies dont happen when the studio have scripts.

if they make the movie then i hope for movie brighter enviorments, faster pacing and more fun characters.

Good news, lets hope he writes a great treatment and Disney go ahead and make the sequel, Legacy seemed to be well liked by the GA so I can only see a sequel being more popular.

They've invested so much time and money bringing back Tron (Legacy, Merch, comics, and a tv series) I can't see how they won't make a 3rd Tron film. Plus the budget wouldn't be that high the next time around.

As long as Olivia Wilde's in it looking hot and kicking arse, I'm happy.

I just meant script being greenlight not the production of film. But it is a nice sign for another film.

Uh...that usually doesn't happen, the budgets tend to get bigger on sequels ("Voyage of the Dawn Trender" is a notable exception since they got burned pretty badly with "Prince Caspian"). I'm guessing that part of it is probably paying the actors more, but also just wanting to build a much more elaborate and expensive world.

The Planet Of The Apes sequels are other examples. I think with each film the budget got smaller and smaller and it was really noticeable by the end.

^IF we do get a Tron sequel, I cant see them being able to do it for anything less than an increased budget, sequels have to up the game from their previous installments, cant see anyones expectations for this to be any different.

I noticed earlier the movie did actually make it to $400 million WW, with that and DVD/BD sales, I can see them making one, but taking the time to make it better.
