It will probably do well in video. But I still sure disney probably will do another.
So, the academy nominations are out... and Tron got snubbed in all but one category; Sound Editing. No Visual Effects? No Soundtrack? I can understand story criticism's, but that's an insult to everyone who worked on this film!
A lot of Social Network is lifted from Trent Reznor's previous work. So that's not it either. The tron soundtrack includes sampre existing music i heard, so it would be disqualified on those grounds.
Least thats what i heard.
Edit-That said Inception is up and that contains 'No regrets'

It really is disheartening.But it's the academy.It's what's expected.
"No Regrets" isn't part of Inception's score, though. The tron soundtrack includes sampre existing music i heard, so it would be disqualified on those grounds.

Batman Begins wasn't a domestic success either... it had a 150mil budget and a 200mil domestic gross - worldwide it had 370mil. For Tron Legacy we're looking at a 170mil budget, it will probably end with just over a 170mil domestic gross - worldwide it should pass 340mil (it only just opened in many European countries - still to open in a few Asian countries - and it's already passed the domestic gross. It's making a lot and picking up quickly worldwide).
In terms of both of those films, neither of them are domestic successes, but worldwide they are both successes. If Tron 3 can do what The Dark Knight did (lots of foreign advertising and a **** tone of domestic advertising and promos) I see it becoming a domestic blockbuster (not to the extent of The Dark Knight... but it'll double it's budget none-the-less).
You owe me your life.i meant Batman Begins was hgue on DVD.
and i bet my life that Tron 2 was at least 80 mil more expensive then BB.
So there's still a chance.i guess BB was not a success since WB didnt want to do the sequel . the positive reaction with the DVD changed everything. and they got more positive reviews from critics and public.
Are you kidding me? Hereafter gets a VFX nom but not Tron: Legacy?
Oh my goodness. Is all I can muster up.
