anyway, i went to Disneyland on Saturday and over at California Adventure they are already setting up Tron stuff

one of the shops has some pretty cool merch

and ElecTRONica is due to open sometime this week. anyone know what that is??

I think it's a club.

Elec-TRON-ica is the attraction/park, the club in the area is called "End of the Line Club" and they sell alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks. I'm assuming it's an actual night club for adults then? I hope so cause I'd love to go there - hahaha. This park opens tomorrow night.

Cool that Tron Night is also going international. Avatar Day was great but we had to wait quite a while to find out that the footage would also be shown in the Netherlands.
I'm hoping that they have more details on when and where the footage will be shown.

Still it does make me wonder if there is pressure for Disney to really make Tron a huge movie at the BO. They're really going all out with the promotion.
I think after Alice in Wonderland ,they're last big hit was TS3. All other movies weren't succesful at the BO.
Also what are the BO numbers that Disney is going for. The budget of Tron is 200 million ( est.). I'm guessing that marketing is higher then 100 million. I mean Tron night , the promotions at DIsney land , merchandise. What is a good number ? 150 ...200 million ?

I saw the toys the other day at Toys R Us.I'm sure those will sell.Also the soundtrack has as much hype around it as the movie itself.It'll probably bring in a good chunk of change to Disney's pockets.

Disney hasn't done any McDonalds or any fast food promotions since 2006, because they don't want to be associated with unhealthy foods.
