I'm so buying these!

I couldn't tell Clu was CGI when he said "I'm not your father, Sam". But the part at the end where he goes "Come on" was a bit obvious.

But they managed to fool me once, which is brilliant in itself.

Odd, it was the inverse for me.

On a side note, when Clu said "come on" I thought about Solomon Kane ( I saw it for the 2nd time recently )when he delivered the same line, anyone else ?

I didnt noticed it until now :hehe:

but its not really anything to complain about

It was not a complain it just made me smile because I really digged Solomon Kane.

I hated the first Tron back when I saw it in my early years. I just watched it again the other day and I still don't see why people like it as much as they do. Having said that this movie just looks amazing. I watched the 7 and half minutes of footage that leaked and I really like this Garrett Hedlund guy. I've never heard of him before this and I think he's going to be really enjoyable to watch and not annoying like some movie sequel sons can be for example Mutt.

Well your eyes usually capture images upside down and they send the signals to your brain so that you see them right side up.

For the same reason you like the sequel but 28 years before :)
- crazy concept : there is a world inside computers
- great designs : the lightcycle, Sark command ship, the solar sail,

The SFX didn't aged well but they have a beauty of their own.

I love Tron & still watch it today but I was there when it first came out & have enjoyed it for nigh on 30 years. However I suspect that someone watching it for the first time today might have an experience similar to mine when I tried to watch The Black Hole a few weeks ago. I barely made it fifteen minutes into that one.

I do think Tron's FX hold up pretty well considering the tech level in 1982.

Just watched the footage - I know this is just confrimation of something we already know but this film looks absolutely am....az.....ing.
