I'd be lying if I didnt think the same but I guess I can get past it as the movie looks awesome and I've waited a looooooooong time to see it get made.

a bit?its 100% in the uncanny valley.

my advice is to accept that they couldnt make it realistic enough in 2 years.guys at DD are fantastic and Benjamin Button worked.

I would not say it is in the uncanny valley but more in the not very sharp CGI area. Maybe it will looks better in 3D.
If they have Avatar technology there should be no reason to that young Flynn looks off.
Anyway, it is not a big deal, I am pumped like crazy for Tron.

the cgi in kevin flynn's mouth looks way off, it looks poor, which is quite astonishing given that we have had Benjamin Button and Avatar to help bring deaging to the screen.

What techniques are they using for Tron? because judging from the clips, it seems like they are just using old fashioned cgi to animate the mouth, and not using the same technique's as in avatar and benjamin button.

the rest of the movie looks like it will make people orgasm as soon as enter the theatre, but the cgi flynn looks off putting.

hopefully it should be better by december.

I have to say, the new clips and trailers have not looked as good as what I saw previously. I don't know what it is, but the cracks and imperfections seem a little more apparent.
