I think it looks less off in the Tron world since everything feels artificial, sleek, and it's filled with CGI already. The lighting also helps. The flashback scene with a normal setting just makes him look a lot faker to me.

TRON looks completely awesome, and I'll be there opening weekend seeing it in 3D, but THIS looks weird in the same way both Hulks did.

Agreed. It kind of makes sense in Tron, but in the flashback, I thought it was a mistake to show him up close like that. They should've just shown him from the back or something and have Bridges' noticable voice.

Just out of curiosity, is Tron in this at all? The guy seems to get shafted pretty bad in his movies despite them being named after him. They resurrected Clu but I guess that's just as an excuse for more Jeff Bridges.

Yeah, I can buy young Jeff in the Tron world but I'm worried about the flashback scenes. He just looks insanely creepy in that one shot in the doorway. I can bet right now that some one who isn't familiar with the film or even Jeff Bridges might think he looks really..off.

I still so no real issue with clu in tron world or has younger flynn in flashback scenes. Plus I am sure it will look better as we watch the film itself. Also digital domain is a good growing sfx house they done good work on films. Plus I am sure there was probably more then just them on this film. Look at avator for example they had like 15 different effects houses working on that film.

this sounds like cute Digital Domain only started working on movies and needs some time to become better.

digital domain was created by Stan Winston and James Cameron. they started doing effects with True Lies.
