Was just about to post something similar, got mine booked for the BFI IMAX in London on the 17th, opening day! There's 7 of us going in total, gonna be an awesome Tron filled day! :woot:

how did you managed to get opening day? are you sat in the middle? I tried getting through but the internet had ground to a halt and when it came back half the tickets were gone and only tikets for the sides and right at the front remained.

no biggie, I only have to wait two days. :yay:

I was on there from about 8 in the morning, stuck on there until 11 when they came online. They went fast. It took me quite a few tries before I got through to the booking stages. Fortunately, were all sitting in the middle, but not as further back as I wanted. It was one of those things, me and my mates either had to see it that day, or we were going to have to see it in regular cinema's instead because of other commitments.

nice one

will be nice to see a live action 3D movie since avatar actually shot in native 3D :)

Resident Evil: Afterlife was shot in 3D.

I once talked to a group of people who didn't have any clue who Harrison Ford or Indiana Jones is. So that's really nothing.

Right, and yet people still feel that a good portion of people including teens of all people should have seen all their favorite films from the 80s. I got into a debate about this in the BTTF thread.

Im with Zanos on this one...also this is the first generation (kids from the 80s) to seriously be infatuated with film

No one answered so I'll ask again. Is this a remake or a sequel to the original?

Its a sequel if u seen any promos or read anything about the film you wouldn't have needed to ask that question.

You know what, im going to shock you now.... I dont think ive ever seen Tron. :wow:

weren't there plans to release the first Tron on blu ray? kind of sucks that it won't be released before or around the time Legacy comes out in theaters. i kind of want to see the first film again before seeing Legacy

I would LOVE to have Tron part 1 on blu ray, I picked up the 20th anniversary DVD for like 15 bucks right after I saw the first Teaser for Tron Legacy. I am sure they will release one near or after Legacy hits theaters, they would be stupid not to ;).

there is no reason to go to a video store. the movie is and was a huge bomb. disney is not expecting money from this movie.

it is on youtube. end of story.

I remember when Tron came out, but was it a big hit? I was a kid at the time, and don't remember if it was successful or not.....
