Eh just get this on to the new one already.

so is the hoyt-punch the new falcon punch? great, now that'll get banned because of the association.

Hmm, possible spoiler for Scott Foley's character from the book story:

There is a Patrick in book 5, though he has a different last name from Foley's character which is Devins, while the book is Furnan. Anyway, in the book, he's a Were who challenges for the leadership of the Shreveport pack, so maybe that might end up for something in season 5.

A Hoyt punch is dangerous. A Hoyt kick is life-ending. Jason's lucky he still has vampire blood in him at the moment.

It was a pretty serious beat down, lol. :p

I honestly think this is the best finale yet. Im hoping you know who stays dead and praying we only see a ghost form of that character next season. Loved how accurate Sookie killing a certain annoying character was and man I totally knew when Alcide got that call it had something to do witha certain missing Vamp. Great episode.

Hoyt punch!

That's hardcore ****, son. Tommy didn't die from shapeshifting or the 5 on 1 beating he recieved. It was a prolonged death from that punch.

lol true! Btw, Newlin showin' up in the end as a vamp was kind of funny ahahaha!

[blackout]does tara (or a character like tara) die in the books?[/blackout]

No, after getting out of another bad relationship with a vampire, she starts up her own clothing store, then later gets married and is currently pregnant with twins.

I'm curious if the authority is expanded upon in the books. Like who they are and who they serve. They've given vague references in past episodes but I'm hoping with [BLACKOUT]Russel on the loose and Bill and Eric being "wanted"[/BLACKOUT] they'll be getting into the bigger aspects of vampire existence instead of Sookie's weekly crush.

The Authority isn't in the books at all. There's some vague hints about an overarching government in the vamp world, but we don't know about anything above the level of king or queen in the books.

So did this episode to the previous episode? Nope and what a letdown it was. Just wasnt feeling this episode and found it to be a weak followup I think they should have let the last episode stand as the season finale and save this as an epilogue/season premiere for next year

Is Tara really gone? Im kinda thinking Sookie's fairy powers will kick in and heal her. Speaking of which, I thought it was dissapointing how her big fairy adventure cliffhanger fro last season finale had pretty much no impact this year. It was all but dropped after the first 2 or 3 episodes and didnt lead to any signifcant developments to Sookie's character

Hate that Bill killed off Jessica Tuck's character

I wonder what was the point of Renee showing up again

I also wonder where they are going with Hoyt

To make the appearance of Scott Foley's character all the more ominous. Reports are that he'll be a part of a major arc in Terry's character next year. Something's gonna go down with Terry's character next year, and Renee showed up to make it sound like it was gonna be bad, but he could have done it to just screw with Arlene, since he's not exactly the most reliable of people.

And as far as the faeries, I think they're gonna do a bit of a slow burn with them, since we gradually learn more and more of them as the books go on, plus the show already has some bigger plots going on first that more people want to see first.

Me too. She was such a good ball-buster to keep Bill and Eric in line. Pam's great, but she just doesn't cut it.

Pams a much bigger whimp on the show than in the books and that is kind of dissapointing.

She's still got her signature sass, which is the most important part, IMO. I think she'd be better if she didn't have everyone who had power over her stopping her from doing some of the stuff that's necessary.

I was surprised that Nan got taken out by Bill and Eric so easily...ok well not really since females in this show always end up defeated/dead. But one would think she wouldve seen something like that coming and her guards more prepaired.
