TV spot

There are lots of spots being shown on Adult Swim. I think they look pretty cool.

As for Julie Benz...just watch 'Dexter.'

Awesome tv spot. What do you guys think of Dominic West? From what has been shown, I think he's going to do an awesome job.
It seems like he is going a pretty good job.He did come off as slightly campy and he will likely play the role with some chessiness but it was not like he was just overdo playing all of his lines and acting like one of the cast members from batman and robin.

I just watched a few episodes of the wire, and I actually have some faith in Dominic West,My biggest fear is that this turns into a BATMAN FOREVER type ordeal....that would suck:waa:

I still wonder if we'll get a descent sequel.

West was ****ing awesome as McNulty on The Wire. Which makes the fact that he could turn out to be very disappointing in this all the more worse.

Or perhaps he means the sequel to "The Descent", the only decent original horror movie to come out in the last 10 years!

I know, that's why I said "the sequel". They're going to ruin the first one.

Yes,that is exactly what I meant lol.:woot:

sorry obviously I don't pay any ****ing attention when I type.

The first one was so original and the characters were fantastic. It's great as a standalone movie and does not need a sequel at all. The only reason they're doing a sequel is to cash in, and that's super lame in my books.

I would think the movie had some hope if it didn't deal with the same characters as the first one, but since it does it completely ruins the whole original film.

Lions Gate really did **** it up with editing ending. The *******s.

Neil Marshall's(Decent Director) other film Dog Soldiers is just as original. That mans got some real talent.

And then he does Doomsday which is just basically a hodge podge of every sci-fi/action/horror film of the '80s.

Doomsday was awesomely bad, every good director has their **** film, Doomsday was Neil's.

Back on topic:

Ive been seeing these War Zone TV spots EVERYWHERE, for such a low budget picture, Lion's Gate is pimpin this sum***** out.

I saw a trailer on smallville too last night.
I'm glad they had one on a comic book show.

The last punisher never had a trailer on "Smallville"

35 million shooting budget isn't too low. Also, it's got the might of Marvel behind it, who apparently contribute in certain ways even if it's not Marvel STUDIOS. As I said elsewhere, hopefully this is an indication that they believe in the movie now. And not that they're just trying to get as many people to see it before they realize it's bad. First one, please!

So, no reviews yet? Thought we would be getting some by now.
I don't get it when people say this. Unless it goes to film festivals, which this type of movie rarely does, why would they be pre-screening it more than half a month in advance? I'm looking at Twilight here, releasing on the 21st of November... no reviews. Bolt, coming out the same day, has a couple but they're from yesterday. I think it's still a little premature for reviews.

Well, the director of photography said it was upwards of 35 million in an interview, shot over something like 40 days. It also doesn't have a sizable portion going to John Travolta.

Transporter 2 - 32 million.
The Resident Evil movies - $45 million each.
300 - $65 million.
Dawn of the Dead 2004 - $28 million.
The Marine - 23 million.
Punisher - $15.5 million.
Kill Bill - $55 million.

So there you go. It doesn't take $150 million to make an action movie.

I just caught the end of a new tv spot.
all I caught was Frank saying;"The clock is ticking"
anybody know where I can watch it online?

I'm not going to call it, but I wouldn't doubt this film would get any preview screenings based on it's already perceived reputation.
