what's great about TDK so far. going by this clip and by the prologue...

is that it doesn't look like a comic book movie. it looks like a real movie. you know what i mean?

i know comic book movies are real movies. but this seems more moody and atmospheric like a big time crime drama or something. anyone agree?

That has basically been Nolan's approach . It looked like a scene from the departed.

It does feel like a REAL movie. Extremely real. Surrealy real, if that's a word. This is why this is so much better than the rest. It's taking what you feel when reading a comic book and making it seem like you're in the comic book as opposed to just looking at a comic book.

Look in his eyes; it's all in the eyes, not the delivery. BAD actors express emotion in the delivery. GOOD actors express it in their eyes.
