The Dark Knight Rises Two-Face in the Third Film?

Nothing about Two-Face's death is written in stone. They could bring him back, I see enough ambiguity in TDK to allow it to happen in a believable manner, and if you think it would "cheapen" his story arc in TDK, then you have no imagination. I will wait until B3 comes out before I believe 100% Two-Face is dead.

Agreed, you guys know if Nolan brought Two Face back for the 3rd film and was used just as well as he was used in TDK then you'd all praise him for how he brought him back. I'll wait an see what happens as I have complete faith in Nolan.

Yes the script says he is dead but the movie doesnt make it clear. But:

1) If Two-Face is alive he will either reveal the truth, or he will hide it (for some reason) but he would still be alive for people to see that he has gone mad. Therefore Batman taking the blame so that Harvey wont fall would have been for nothing.
2) Nolan's TwoFace was motivated by his grief for Rachel and he wanted revenge on people that were responsible for her death (according to him). He could take it city wide and blow everybody up, but i think that his story is up. There is no need to drag this.
3) Why would you want another Two Face movie? Sure we got very little of him, but what's so great with him? He is a gangster who cant make up his mind. Harvey Dent (and the fact that we always know what will happen to him) has always been the more intriguing character and he is gone. So lets move on and see some new villains take the stage. But the joker should have at least a cameo.

It took me about a year, but I have gotten over it. Dent is dead.

Lets face it, Dent is dead. The movie is pretty straight faced about it. It doesnt leave room for a second option. How could Dent ever show his face on screen after that two story high fall? And even if he was alive, how would the truth stay hidden? That would mean that he disappeared from the face of the earth. Lets put two and two together here.

Again, if you can't see anyway at all that TWO-FACE is still alive, then you're not using your imagination. Having said that, I can also accept that he is dead, if that is what Nolan has decided. I am not so hidebound that I can't accept either option. I'm just going to wait until the movie comes out.

They could show some old news footage of him before he died. Harvey's death should play a big role in the sequel.
