I don't think those costumes are just for mystique and quicksilver and I also don't think they are the final costumes we will see

If the costumes are indeed the ones that raven and peter are wearing I won't mind tbh, people are saying the film looks to colorful (HA!) already.

Its very similar to the G.I. Joe: The Rise of Cobra costumes and Louise Mingenbach was the costume designer for that film!
Remember when Singer tweeted during DOFP that the costumes won't be black LEATHER...

:oldrazz:

Yes

And we still got black colored costumes in the future period.
Same here, I hope they wear those. Not more colourful costumes, Psylocke's and Jubilee's are enough:hmr:

What we saw from Jubilee so far is just street clothes. I think.
Why go all the way with the horsemen's costumes and not with the X-Men? :o I sincerely hope it ain't those Mystique/QS costumes.

I just don't think the X-Men would have time to change/pick their costumes.... they get 1 set of costume and thats it for the rest of the film. And I just don't see how Quicksilver/Mystique will have a matching costume and the new kids are wearing something completely different.

But the horsemen do? Why would Apocalypse take out time from his precious world destruction to make his soldiers look cool?

At the end of the day, it's just costumes. Magneto showed up in one in DOFP and there was no scene explaining how he got it. But, you can have a scene where they are like "actually Hank has been secretly designing these suits" and voila.:o

Did I say the horsemen will get a second costume?... no.

Its very rare for a mutant to get a 2nd costume (not counting street clothes).... Viper, Magneto (FC)... thats the only mutants I can think of that got another costume... Storm in X3, if you count her outfit when she and Logan went to Alkali Lake.

Oh just wait and see, no one even knows the context of that scene in the teaser

I liked her uniform when she went to Alkali Lake it has denim vibes lol

New Tye interview from Indiewire.

Here's the X-Men part:

You've worked with some of the most acclaimed indie directors in the business -- Malick, Nichols -- and now you're transitioning head first into the world of big budget tentpoles by joining Bryan Singer and the "X-Men" franchise. Was this move something you always envisioned? How has the change been?

I never even imagined that I would be in the position I am now, or even the industry I am in now doing films and acting. It still hasn't set in. I'm still waiting for reality to come crashing down on me. There's no franchise I'd rather be a part of and doing sort of as my first foray into larger budget stuff than "X-Men." When you go back and look at all the movies -- the history of X-Men is so rich and the characters are so rich and they have such depth, and there's such depth to the stories. I feel like most franchises and superhero films don't have that. I think that's why this franchise is not just special to me, but also just so special in general. I'm so lucky and grateful to be a part of it.

How does this iteration of Cyclops compare to some of the other characters you've taken on?

It's quite similar actually. It's a nice progression with the roles I've played in the past. It's forced me to use everything I've learned playing all the characters I have. My character is angry and a bit lost, which I feel like is where I've met a lot of my characters -- in these sort of young life transitions where they're struggling to figure things out about themselves. He's now learning about being a mutant and trying to handle his superhero powers. The arc for the character is really cool for me -- it's not like I'm just stepping into it and I'm a superhero and it's cool and all that with the suit. You kind of see the progression of this character -- where he comes from, what he has to overcome and where he goes at the end of the film. It's a great arc.

And, like "Stanford," it's a pretty incredible ensemble.

You can't even begin to comprehend what working with this cast is like. I remember shooting for the first week, getting off for a week, and then coming back and they were shooting with Oscar Isaac and Michael Fassbender, and it hits me that I'm really going to be working with the greats. I came back from having a week off and it's my first scene to shoot with James McAvoy, and let me tell you something -- James McAvoy is my idol! We get along great, and I've told him how big of a fan I am, but just to even be working with him -- just to meet him and talk to him is amazing. But having a scene where I'm one on one with him -- my god, it's insane! We were shooting in the X Mansion and I walk on set and there's 300 people on set, everyone's walking, it's like being in the heart of New York City or something, there's a hustle and bustle. I walk in and I look down and I'm standing on the X of the X Mansion and that's when it really settled in like, "****, I'm in an X-Men movie!'"

:D

Wow! Amazing interview. I have a huge amount of faith in Tye's grasp of the character. And his excitement is infectious!

Yeah, he sounds very hyped while talking about it. It is infectious. :D
I also like what he said about the films in general and his James McAvoy fanboying is really cute. :yay:

Cool interview. It really raises my anticipation for Cyclops even more, especially his mention of this one on one scene between Cyke and Xavier.

Love that Cyke has an arc. I think he will nail it.

Do you think if Eh Sabah Nur killed Alex Summers, this would have a big impact to Scott Summers? I think so.

Great interview.

I like that he compared Scott to his previous characters. I love the mix of toughness and vulnerability he shows in this scene. I'd love to see something like that for Cyke. Great actor.

Now I need to watch Joe and something great with Kodi Smith-Mcphee.

I have a feeling Tye is going to be another great snag by Fox just like McAvoy, Fassbender and Lawrence were in FC. Or MBJ and Teller in F4. If Tye manages to make it big like Lawrence in between films, it'll be bring even more legitimacy to the acting prowess of the X-Men films. Hopefully X-Men will push him onto greater things!

Also, the interview was great. I think Tye and Kodi have had the best interviews among the new young cast members thus far. Just as great as some of Oscar's interviews.
