If you can, try to watch Mud and Joe. Both are excellent films that showcase his talent pretty well. The former actually has a 98% Fresh rating on Rotten Tomatoes.

He seems cool. I like his look and mannerisms in this interview.

It's the first I've seen of him where he doesn't speak with a southern accent; and yeah, the clean-cut look works better for Scott Summers, who was something of a square in his younger days.

I did, got a little carried away. Not a photoshopper--but I think Tye is going to look great as Cyclops.

Tye Sheridan, or "Tyeclops", has an awesome costume. The yellow and blue almost makes it look Swedish.

Thats strange. They didnt rescast Bobby Rogue Colossus and Kitty to play the old version in 2023.
Tye and Sasha play Scott and Jean as teen and Marsden/Famke play them as adult more than 30 yo. Whereas Ashmore Paquin etc played their teens characters, as well as adult (more than 30)

Cudmore, Ashmore, Paquin were 18-26 when played teenagers in trilogy (2000-2006).
Why would you recast them to play 35yo characters in DOFP when they're 32-34 (2014).
I see nothing strange.
Marsden, Berry, Famke played 35+yo characters in trilogy, and 50+ in DOFP, they won't play teenagers.

If a probably future x-men movie will be made, with original cast playing their characters in their 30 (like original trilogy period), they will need to recast Ashmore and Cudmore (they are almost 40 in some years) for Iceman/Colossus as teenagers.

If a probably future x-men movie will be made, with original cast playing their characters in their 30 (like original trilogy period), they will need to recast Ashmore and Cudmore (they are almost 40 in some years) for Iceman/Colossus as teenagers.

They've got plenty of longevity with the "younger" actors (Ashmore, Paquin, Page) to continue to play their characters. If they make another film with those characters, I hope it's contemporary or not too distant future.

Hope we won't see period we already saw 2005 (X1)-2015(The Wolverine), so we don't need recast. OT cast can play not too distant future 2018-2025.
