Apocalypse Tye Sheridan is CYCLOPS

I really like the casting of Tye Sheridan as Cyclops.

He's attractive...in a very unique way.

I like how his looks is very different from all those typical handsome guys that I've seen in movies.

Not sure about his acting. Have not seen any of his previous works yet.

Sheridan kind of resembles Marsden.

Totally awesome look. I'm Impressed, really like it.
Good thing with the shoulder pads, a little 8os element there. But for the final look in the film, I wish they go even more 80s. Cyclops is a young guy here so they can either have Top Gun or the music (hardrock or pop) as some inspiration.

Marsden praises the casting. No surprise actually. That's an unwritten rule in Hollywood.
How common is it for an actor do openly dislike the one who replaces him in "his" role? Or stating he's never seen any of his films?

The thing with Sheridan is that I feel that the studio actually picked an actor who's right for the character. It's something I have only felt a few times before.
I really look forward to see in him the role (not as much as Lerman though, but I wish he will become Spidey instead) and I hope he won't disapoint me. . But trust me, no matter who they picked for Cyclops, Marsden will still only be positive.

Based on the Actors resumes I would suggest that Cyc is going to have the largest roll of all three of these. Sophie is more of a household name, but by the time this come out I have a feeling that Tye will have some serious backing in Hollywood.

Aesthetically speaking, my jury is out on this casting choice. I think Tye Sheridan is a FANTASTIC actor. But I don't see Scott Summers at all. I was really hoping that Taron Edgerton was going to get this because I always pictured Scott as being among the most handsome of the X-Men. Tye is not necessarily unattractive, but I felt that Nicholas Hoult was actually miscast and would've been the IDEAL Cyclops. But seeing Tye in costume will likely settle my concerns. I'm not freaking out...just cautiously optimistic at this point.

One thing is for absolute certain though: the chemistry is gonna have be ON POINT between Tye and James McAvoy. Basically Scott is Charles' right hand man--a role that Beast has been playing up until this point. Beast is gonna have to move his ass over for the new kid on the block. Interesting dynamic...

Great casting here. This kid was awesome in Mud and Joe, two films that really should have gotten more attention. I hope they'll finally do my favorite X-Man justice here. At least it seems like they cast the right actor.

I was for Taron or the kid from Maze Runner landing the role. This Tye kid doesn't strike me as Scott Summers but i saw Mud and he was good actually. Well at least its nice that we can discuss the several choices that was up for Scott. Can't say the same about Storm.

This is awesome.

Now, just change the costume colors to black and black and we'll have a design similar to what will appear in the movie.
