Uncharted 2: Among Thieves

Yea i LOVE Co-Op Arena. Its a lot like Gears of War 2's Horde mode, which i also love. I think i enjoy whats in Uncharted more tho, but im biased as its my fav game franchise this gen.

Its great when you have great people to play with. I just got up to Round 10 with some random people I was playing with online. I would always get up to Round 5 and then die off there but we got to R10 easily. Everyone had each other's back and we really did work as a team. Made it so much fun. That mode is so addicting.

One question though bc in the beta, there was a gold rush variant which worked like Arena but you had to capture the treasure to end the round. Im not seeing that in the final game. Am I missing something?

Pat, Me, and a random dude made it to Round 9 just a while ago. Good game(s) Pat, by the way. It was my first time the Co-Op and I am hooked. I have already been hooked on the Comp. mode. This game is awesome.

I really love this game.

But I was wondering, will I be able to make more money if I go through and beat the game on normal again? Or do you have to keep going up the difficulty ladders to get more? And would I need to start a new game from scratch on normal, or go back and replay levels. Or would starting a new game erase all my data and money made thus far?

P.S. - I just bought a bluetooth headset for my PS3, I've been playing online with a couple of my friends from Gamestop, it's so fun hearing them talking about everything going on while we're in co-op arena or survival. Now I can finally join the conversation t:. It's funny too when some people have their TV's up loud enough that you can hear their tv during their gameplay chat, and that kill chime too

Was it just me or did anyone else feel reminscent of MGS IV while playing this? The environment in Nepal, [blackout]Resistance and villagers[/blackout] reminded me of the first act of that game

I wasn't thinking about it at all, but now that you mention it it does a little. Especially when you play that section in military getup. It's great how many unlockable skins the game has. My favorite is helmet Soldier - Dragan.

I broke down and picked this up at the Borderlands midnight release last night. I've just finished reading the synopsis of the first game to get caught up with the story.

Well, I'm a recent WoW addict. I have excuses for missing out on console titles!

Either way, this game looks amazing and I can't wait to try it out when I get home, 27/78 perfect 100 reviews on metacritic can't be a hit-and-miss game. I'm sure it's dead on bullseye perfect. I mean, it's Naughty Dog for one. As far as I'm concerned, their name means pure gold to a game.

Sounds great to me. I can be on pretty much at any time, but Mon.-Fri. after 8pm cst. is usually the best for me.

But yeah, actually, I'm probably looking forward to the multiplayer more than anything. I had Gears 2 on 360 when I owned one and I loved Horde mode. I understand co-op is like that? Either way, I can't wait to delve into both story and MP.

Yea man, if you enjoyed the MP in Gears 2, you'll enjoy this. Its very familiar. The co-op is every bit as fun as Horde, if not more so.

Just got my copy today. Started playing and just got to the dig area where you get more of Marco Polo's journals. Pretty fun so far

Apparently the Amazon treasure map was only the first six treasures, so that was crap.

another thing, since the whole yeti thing was just a costume, I dont mind the supernatural element anymore, it was just the design of them that threw me off initially, but all is good now, so this game is damn near perfect

I was a bit disappointed that they weren't yetis. The first game gave us mutant zombie dudes; why couldn't this one give us yetis instead of funky bluish Morlocks?

Maybe it's just me, but I thought purple, horned, Yetis were a bit too much. I also hated how they sounded and moved, so I was glad when they turned out to be humans and not some lame Power Rangers inspired monsters. because that's the vibe that I got.
