Uncharted 3: Drake's Deception - Part 1

There's a good reason to pre-order games. For example, because I pre-ordered Arkham City and I went to the midnight launch to pick it up, I was able to get 30% extra trade-in credit on games. So I traded in X-Men Destiny and Spider-Man Edge of Time and I ended up only paying like $4 due to all the extra trade-in value I got from those two games alone.

I got it before you. Na na na na na! I got it from the AMC event. A premium pass got a copy of the game early. I was already going to buy the game, might as well pay for it and get early. :up:

I'm guessing the bikes were replaced with the [BLACKOUT]horses[/BLACKOUT], that set piece reminds me of The Last Crusade.

Yeah the set pieces will blow you away. They have truly outdone themselves.

Also, I believe ND works with some sort of magic, because I have no idea how the make these games without a load screen in sight. It's all seamless. It always astounds me that they can squeeze so much from a 5-6 year old system like this.

Yeah, I know what you mean Kalel, I'm constantly wondering that with certain games... Uncharted, Gears of War, Arkham games... It amazes me how these devs can produce such drastically improved sequels (visually) when working with the same system. Some devs just seem to know the tech so well they can push it further and further with each game. I can't wait for this game, it's gonna be awesome.

It really boggles the mind when you think about what they will be able to do with the next gen consoles. :wow:

I can't wait until you guys get to play it as well. Really want to discuss the game with everyone.

Even better, think about what they will be able to do 5 years into the next gen consoles... I mean, think how outdated some 360/PS3 launch games look now. It's gonna be crazy.

Are you guys gonna do much MP? I never played much U2 mp but I really wanna get into this one, the beta impressed me a lot. I don't have a headset though... Do you guys reckon it's worth investing in (bearing in my, money is tight atm with all these games) just for Uncharted? Do you guys use headsets?

If what Im hearing about hte game is correct, I really think ND is done with Uncharted until next gen bc they most likely can not top themselves after 3 at least not on the current hardware

I plan on playing a ton of the MP. Fortunately, some BT headsets are pretty cheap, so I say go ahead and get one. I use the same one I use for my cellphone.

IA. I think if they want take the next leap, they have to wait for the new tech. This would also give them the benefit a big development window to work in. The next Uncharted as a launch title would be huge for Sony.

I just realized this comes out tuesday!! Now I have to get my Ps3 fixed before I get it. Is there any collectors editions for this or anything special. I've heard nothing but good things about this game.

Lots of stealth opportunities. At least, I used it a lot more than I did in U2.

I'm all for one having their own opinion, but it seems like they just plain suck at shooters. Either that or they were fishing hard for hits.
