I'm all for one having their own opinion, but it seems like they just plain suck at shooters. Either that or they were fishing hard for hits.

Take it from Jamie and me, this game is awesome sauce.
I dont need to be convinced of that . Nuaghty Dog had me sold back in 2007 :D

Amazon just shipped my copy and I'm expecting it tomorrow!!!

:awesome:

Im picking it up first thing tomorrow morning at Target

I really don't have the money for this, but I'm still undecided if that's going to stop me or not.

I started my second play through. I fear Crushing this time around. There is one particular part that was about to drive me nuts and that was just on Normal. FYI, Crushing also takes away the button prompts while you are doing melees

I've yet to play Crushing on any of the games. I want to finish my hard playthrough first in the second one before I go back to the first one. But I'm glad to hear you can unlock Crushing with a Normal playthrough. I really didn't want to frustrate myself with Hard playthrough just to avoid playing the game twice to unlock Crushing.

I love playing Crushing, i'm all for the challenge.

6 more hours til I receive my copy.

Can. Not. Wait.

Gamestop didn't do the midnight launch! I am pissed

Amazon just e-mailed me my pre-order bonus code, but I'm having issues with the PSN again so I'm scared of entering it right now. When I got my Catwoman code with Arkham City it took me all day to download it because my PS3 froze when I entered the code. I really hope that doesn't happen again.

Good news is I have the game. Bad news is I wont be able to touch until after 4pm :(

I'm really excited to see what you guys think of it.

Gamestop, as in the whole company or just your local Gamestop? Because I know that not all branches do midnight launches. There are 4 in the city I live in and only 2 of them will do the midnight launches.

Yeah, I can't wait to get my hands on it. I pre-ordered from Amazon, and it's out for delivery today. So it will be on my back porch by the time I get home from work. I just got my pre-order bonus emailed to me as well. I think for the most part, I am done with pre-ordering from Gamestop. Amazon just tends to offer more. For example, I received a $20 Amazon credit for pre-ordering Battlefield 3 and I am getting a $10 credit for pre-ordering HALO Anniversary. That's a $40 game, and I will indirectly be saving $10 on it just for pre-ordering through them. I think that it's safe to say that I am addicted to Amazon.

Yeah, I've been pre-ordering games, as well as practically everything else from Amazon and haven't had one regret. But I did choose to go to Gamestop for my AC: Revelations pre-order since they have a free upgrade to the Signature Edition. So I'll have to go pick that up in a few weeks at my local store.

Yeah, my friend was telling me about that. Apparently only Gamestop is the only retailer, in the US, that is offering the Signature Edition, or it's something like that. I don't remember the exact details, though.

Oh and if you ever want to trade in games, movies, books, etc., Amazon is DEFINITELY the place to do it. I had a bunch of old DVDs, a few duplicate Blu Ray movies and a few games and got $77 in Amazon credit. Granted, you don't get much for DVDs, but every little bit helps. I think the most I got for a standard DVD was something like a dollar. My Blu Ray movies averaged around $4 per movie. I did get $36 for Madden 12 though. If you have a newer game, you will get quite a bit for it. Plus it's SUPER easy to do. All you have to do is go to the Trade-In site within Amazon.com, search for what you are trading in, select what condition it's in, and then print out a shipping label (which you don't pay for, btw) and after Amazon verifies your shipment, you will receive your credit.

Can you?
That's great. I always play it on normal first, but to play on normal, then on hard, then finally on crushing gets tiresome. I'm glad to see we can jump directly into Crushing after we beat the game on a normal difficulty.

By the way, the trophy list is quite annoying. Thankfully, only 2 online trophies, but the rest is all about killing others. They could have more story related achievements. A really bad selection, in my opinion.
