Was wondering if anyone else chuckled during times not meant for it. Here are mine.

1. Bane's prologue voice
2. Talia's cliche "take a last breath and die" death scene
3. Gordon's surviving pretty much unharmed from the truck fall.
4. The ultimate in my opinion, copied and pasted from a moderator because he worded it better than I ever could:

"Argh, ugh, Cover the doors. Wherza da twigeraaaahz! Wherea iz it!? AAAAAAHH You'da neerer grive it to an ooorinarie cirrrezen! Wherea iz it! *starts getting tired* whereaizit...?"

Yeah one part that stuck out for me and I can't remember how the line went at all, so forgive me, but it was the part during the first fight between Batman and Bane. It was where Bane had Batman by the throat and then Batman started growling something about the LOS being psychopaths or something like that. Does someone know the scene I am talking about and know the dialogue?

Bane: And you betrayed us.

Batman: You were excommunicated by a gang of psychopaths.

I think this is how it went down. Batman's voice is funny there but not in a ridiculous kind of way.

Rookie Cop shots batman then says Sorry.

That's not unintentional, though.

Talia's death is the most hilarious moment of the film.

Yeah the cop shooting the gun was meant to be funny, I'm talking about moments meant to be serious that were funny due to bad acting, overacting, unbelievable happenings, etc.

I'm not sure why, but I also found Foley's death scene funny, we see him charging in badass, and then all of sudden he's just lying dead on the ground.

For some reason some guy in front of me LOLed really hard when Batman went batsh-t crazy and yelled "WHEERRREEE ISSS IITTTT?" at Bane.

Talia's death takes the cake.

Also, this:
"Goodbye, Alfred"
(next scene)
"Alfred?"

Wasn't that supposed to be intentionally funny though? In both of my screenings the entire audience laughed at that scene.

I will admit that it's pretty jarring to put a lighthearted/comical scene like that right after that emotionally intense argument they had.

I found that scene odd more than anything. I know it's meant to be funny. But I still think it was an odd editing choice to have Bruce seem surprised that Alfred is gone directly after a huge, emotional scene where they both acknowledge that Alfred is leaving.

Yeah. It sort of sucked out the impact from the previous scene a bit.

I found foley's stance laughable. it just looked awkward to me. him dying stopped me from chuckling though.

me during the shot of foley shooting at talia and the camo tumblr: :woot:

me during the shot of foley dead on the ground: :csad:

"WHEEERE ISSSS ITTTT!??!" totally slayed me.

Reminded me of the similar scene from TDK and all those online parody videos making fun of Batman's throat-cancer-laced Batvoice.

Batman Interrogation Method: Punch people in the face, yell at them with the Bat voice. Repeat. Why Batman thought this would work on Bane is beyond me. Threatening someone with physical force and intimidation... someone who kicked the everloving **** out of you when you didn't take cheap potshots at his mask... it's just not going to be effective.

That was boderline terrible. I don't profess to know anything of substance about filmmaking, but I hated the way that was cut.
And we know they filmed more. Not one usable shot from that Foley stunt? Not one?!?!?!:cmad:

I know exactly what you're talking about. The way he said psychopaths is literally making me cry from laughter right now.

There's was a nuclear bomb that was about to go off. I don't blame him for yelling like that in dire situations. I'm sure most of us would be doing everything we could when trying to get information from someone if we were in his shoes.

Yelling to physically inflicting dominance over someone is only natural in a case like that.

Perhaps, but that's precisely why it was so funny! Batman went into this sort of desperation mode during the first fight (and lost miserably). He gained the upper hand during the second fight, to be sure, only to slip back into desperation mode and just invoke the good ol' "scream in his face" method. It was like, "Really? You can't think of anything better than to yell at the guy who's clearly not scared of you? You beat him only to find that you're out of ideas?"

Another funny line (by Bane):
"I AMMM the League of Shadohhhhs, and I am here to fulfill Ra's al Ghul's destineehhhy!"

Bane was channeling his inner Sean Connery quite strongly on that one.

"I am the League of Shadows" sounded very Darth Vader-like. Yes I know he sounds like that all the time but it's the way he said it.

When the tumbler is about to shoot the blackgate prison doors all the press guys run away. but there is also a prison guard who goes back into the prison and closes a tiny door behind him... looks kinda funny considering they will blow the whole thing to pieces in a moment ;)

Talia's death brought laughs in both the viewing I went to. It was almost a cartoon death where you expected her to leap up and shout "Fooled You!"

....wasn't helped by Batman, Selina, and Gordon's "WTF" expressions either!

Loved that line, the pacing of it was cool.

Also "You merely adopted the dark. I was born in it...moullllded by it."

When watching TDKR for the second time, when Bane breaks Bats- and says "Ahhh, I was wondering what would break first...your spirit or your body!!" I heard:

"Your spirit...or YOUR BUNNY!!"
