An old, creepy, overweight egotistical and authoritarian dictator in charge of a fascist state, government overreach, a person in a costume becoming the symbol of a revolution, things being dictated by algorithms and AI. Yeah, totally not relevant.

Honestly, would be nice if they kept their focus on British inspirations, as ripping on Trump is a bit unoriginal, and they've had just as much to inspire the story as we have.

The source material already has so many uncanny parallels to our current real world that any adaptation would automatically create comparisons to things like Trump, MAGA, AI, etc. without directly calling it out and they wouldn’t even need to try or change anything.

It’s kind of like Andor using our real world history as inspiration and by chance just happening to mirror what was occurring at the time because history is cyclical and we’re a bunch of morons who don’t f**king learn a d**n thing.
