Thankyou Katie! Geeze when are we going to get an X-Men film and not Wolverine and friends. Having a main character in a team movie is fine but every single X-film focuses way too much on Wolverine.

What was with the CG claws? Were they used in the first three films? I don't recall.....if they were they were definitely done better than that....speaking of bad CGI, how hard is it to render a good jet flying through the air...wow, that was bad. The rest of the CG was good- but the jet and the claws were horrendous.

That was my point...it was never blatant in the first three films. In this film, especially the scene in the bathroom- and the scene where he sliced out of Alkali Lake...it just looked terrible...like completely fake. In the first three films, the claws never once looked fake or unconvincing.

I wouldn't say the x-men trilogy never showed bad looking claws ever. The first x-men had a full cgi wolverine flying around the crown of the statue of liberty...and everything looked bad including the claws.

Yeah, that part was awful... Overall though, X1's Wolverine effects were pretty spot-on.

Completely unrelated, but I really wish they had brought Toad back (Yeah, I know he was a last minute cut from X2's script). Ray Park was awesome in the role, and the character was a lot of fun.
