I think I'm going to need an adamantium bullet if this gets made![]()
I see no problem with multiple mind wipes.

It seems like a cop out to me, and really unneccessary just to include a character they didn't need to include. Are his memories going to be wiped every movie, especially at conveniant moments to keep the "continuity" in tact? When you force characters and need to do things like this, you're only inviting more bad writing elsewhere in the script. I don't want to see more forced cameos or characters in future films. It never works well.
OR.....continued mind wipes really screws with him until he winds up in the backwoods of Canada cage fighting people for beer money.
But he doesn't remember having it wiped, so how do multiple ones screw with him? He'd only really acknowledge 1 anyway. I just don't see where having his memory erased again is a good idea. I think it has more potential drawbacks than pluses.
Well....in the previous movies, he kept getting flashes of memories that confused and upset him.....depending on how many times and how well each time it is wiped....all kinds of memory flashes over the years that get him into different situations.
Origins show him being from Canada....after years of fighting he has enough and goes back there....his mind is wiped...but years later shows back up in Canada in X1.....there is an unconscious connection there....he keeps being drawn back to Canada....and if you keep going back some place, some one will recognize you and say something like "Hey, you're that guy that tore up our town 5 years ago"....but if his mind has been wiped, he won't remember it....which screws with his mind.
people who have been members for years and only have a couple hundred posts, are they studio plants?
Are you one of those paranoic nerds? Why do you care anyway? Get a life instead, Wise@$$.5 years. Only a hundred and something posts and a new Wolverine movie is important enough for one of your rare posts? I don't know what or who you are but that does seem kinda weird
You know, I definitely don't want to see another wolverine film. But I have come to realize that if this is what it's going to take for Marvel to eventually get control of the X-franchise back, so be it.
Let Fox milk the franchise and it's characters for all their worth. Let them run this franchise into the ground with mediocre spin-offs (cash-ins) until it hurts their bottom line.
The best bet to see a real X-men movie(s) is for the current iteration to die a slow and expensive death. I believe Fox will try to milk four more movies out of the X-franchise--each one will be progressively worse than the last. Hugh will complain about the criticism and leave the franchise. Fox will either begin to lose money or garner such severe criticism for the films that they will sell the property back to Marvel or attempt a quick reboot in a last ditch effort to restablish the franchise and hold on to the property.
If they sell it back to Marvel, look for them to try and cut a distribution deal ala Paramount and Universal. Fox really doesn't have an uber franchise to call their own, so they will do their best to stay close to this franchise if it comes to that.
It's just so damn unfortunate that one of the greatest comicbooks of all is being treated so poorly when other comicbooks are getting great treatments.
Keep up the outstanding work Fox, your right on track.
I see no problem with multiple mind wipes.
It would open the door to alot of possibilites . Maybe they could mindwipe Sabretooth.
OR.....continued mind wipes really screws with him until he winds up in the backwoods of Canada cage fighting people for beer money.
While I don't want to have constant memory wipes, I do think giving Deathstrike a history would be a good thing. They did with Creed in the Origins, so it only feels right they do it with Deathstrike, Wolverine's other adversary in the comics that was reduced to a silent henchperson.
If they don't find a better explanation for his memory being wiped again then the goddamn adamantium bullet then they shouldn't even bother though.
