The Amazing Spider-Man 2 Venom/Eddie Brock

I don't want to see venom or carnage in this series be cause
1) we have already seen venom

We saw him for less than 5 minutes of costumed screen time. We also already have seen Spider-Man's other two archenemies' (Goblin and Doctor Octopus) and people seem open to having them return.

2) can't do carnage without venom although it would be interesting to see him

Same reason as before.

3) 2 symbiote villians just seems boring

Venom is what Peter fears he could have become had he gone to far, as Carnage is what Eddie could become. Peter is as responsible for Venom, as Eddie is for Carnage. You could have both characters in the same film, using Carnage's appearance as means to resolved the conflict between Peter and Eddie, maybe recreating the ending of maximum Carnage with Venom seeming sacrificing himself to stop his symbiote son.

But it isn't likely that Marc and co. Will use either of them just because they have already Ben used despite the screen time buy I would like to see carnage and a better venom indeed but there are other villains to use that I would rather see

I want an older Eddie Brock. Not someone who's in High School or College.

I would love to see Jon Bernthal from The Walking Dead play him. He has the size and the attitude.

I don't think the age of Eddie Brock makes any difference how chaotic Venom can be. I'm only talking about him being 10-15 years older than Peter.

If he is in one of the next three movies, I hope they do a better job explaining some of Venom's abilities like him knowing about the previous host and his immunity to the spider-sense.

Welcome to the Hype. I dont like the choice though. Eddie has never really been portrayed as a nerd/social outcast/soft-spoken the way Jesse Eisenberg acts. That's similar to saying Michael Cera.

Eisenberg would be more the Harry Osborn type. Or even Peter.

Yes. All we need for now is an Eddie Brock cameo or just a glimpse at the symbiote in TASM3. I'm so excited for this series.

I think it's very possible we'll get a cameo of Eddie, maybe even a small supporting role, in TASM 3. Unless, of course, Harry is Venom.

The idea is that both Eddie and the symbiote have a big hatred towards Peter, and they use each other to get revenge on him. If they replace Eddie with Harry, I'm fine with that. Eddie wants revenge for his father's death, and that's a great motivation for him to go after Spider-Man.

I wouldn't want the symbiote discovered and Venom created in the same movie. I'd want it to overlap, cliffhanger abandoned church style.

Agreed. They are using a bit of Eddie Brock's backstory from USM for Harry (being old childhood friends), so you never know.

2 films is really all you need. One film to set up the symbiote/black costume, the next movie Venom is the main villain. Then if we want more, they can always do the Venom spin-off they've been talking about for a long time.
