Venom doesn't need his own movie, however, he should be in a Spider-Man movie, which will probarbly be SM-3. Hopefully he'll be full blown for Spider-Man 4, unless, like that "Q&A" says, just might not happen.

i'm sorry...but that doesn't make any sense. just because i don't think there needs to be a lame cliffhanger, or a venom spinoff, doesn't mean i don't understand the character.

in fact, it really means that i DO understand the character, because i know his story can and will be told in SM3.

isn't the GG spidey's arch-nemesis? and one of the most popular comic book villains? and a kepy part to spidey's universe? yet he was killed off in just one movie.

there's my point. it's one movie, not a comic book series. it would work perfectly fine as a singular story.

it's not like i'm....HOPING they kill off venom. i'd be happy if brock or the symbiote were still around after the finale. the venom story should end there, though.

mmmkkk...but that has nothing to do with the original green goblin, norman osborn, who has destroyed so many aspects of peter's life and has been around since the beginning of the spidey comics.

GG2 has different motives then the original, and he is peter's BEST FRIEND in actuality, not his worst enemy.

Just wanted to throw out a few thoughts on SM3

I was reading that part about Venom appearing in the last 10 minutes of Spider-Man 3 and then all of a sudden it hit me. If Venom is only in SM3 for the last ten minutes, then it's obviously a set up for SM4! So my guess is that MJ gets killed off in SM3 (her contract is up,remember?) GS is the new love from here on out, and the Venom rivalry segue ways into SM4.

So what do you guys think about this?

That's what i think as well. Sm3 is just an introduction to the character Eddie Brock and the origin of Venom, Sm4 Venom would be developed and him and spiderman would fight continously and probably have to work together to defeat some baddie or something like that.
