They have been around a hell of a lot longer obviousley so yeah thats why they were in more episodes. That was like in 93 or 94 so Venom was still relativley new dont forget

he still is new compared to those other baddies. venom's cool. we get it. some may argue that he's cooler than the others. but he's not as IMPORTANT to the spider-man frnachise as those other guys. that's the truth.

but just to introduce a well known villian at the end, and a favorite to the majority of people, and then just kill him off, many fans will be very upset. i think he should get a a chance to do a little destruction in another film, but definitely end it in the next.

Couldnt agree with u more

I personally feel that most of Venom's coolness isn't so much venom himself, it's everything that happened regarding spidey, the symbiote, and so on. it's the plot. Venom is like an add on to the symbiote story line.

that's exactly what i've been saying. it doesn't matter how much destruction venom does. it matters how much destruction the SYMBIOTE does to peter...and thats essentially what this movie is about.

your right, but to have a villian that just goes around looking to kill spidey and just destroys everything, and spidey can't really stop him...now thats just something awesome to see.

Yes it does matter how much destruction Venom does cause thats what he,s kinda known for

Venom doesn't just go around "destroying everything". He's one of the few Spidey villains who doesn't hurt citizens. He wants Spidey and Spidey alone.

every villian goes around trying to kill spidey and destroying everything in their path! thats what a villain does! GG, Dock Ock, anyone! we've seen it before. this story is focused on the symbiote, which is the real villian here if you think about it.

Yes u are right about that

not really. i've already explained this about venom. anyone else wanna gived it a go and explain what venom is truly about and what he's known for?

yes, but in going after spidey, he'll do anything to get him and doesn't really care what or who's around...just as long as he gets spidey.

Venom doesnt' want to hurt innocents, and he's pretty much under the impression that Spider-Man is not an innocent. It's because of spidey ruining his life, and the symbiote clouding his judgement.

In the comic he eventually realized that if he killed spidey than everybody spidey would save in the future would die, and by killing spider-man now, he's letting those people die as well, so he spared him.

Yes the real Villain is the symbiote but what would it be without someone to attach it self to ?

doc ock wasn't after spidey, he was only interested in his work. its not like he went around looking for him, but when spidey came around then he wanted to get rid of him, but spidey wasn't his main concern.

and gg wanted spidey to join him in the movie, and then after being refused, then he lured spidey to him so that he could get rid of him.

venom has one thing on his mind:kill spidey!

He's known for his slobbery tongue and brain eating fetish :p :D

Seriously, Venom is supposed to be the evil Spider-Man. He wants to kill Spider-Man because he believes Spider-Man wronged him by making him lose his job and ruining his life etc.Even though it was entirely Brock's own fault.

He wants to rid the world of the "evil" of Spider-Man, and protect innocents.

which version of venom is it that the suite needs to eat people to survive? or was that just the USM game?

of course it needs to attach itself to somebody, but it's what the symbiote DOES, not who it attaches itself to. brock wouldn't be a villain without the symbiote. spidey wouldn't go bad without the symbiote.

symbiote = badass.

So true lol

I faded from spider-man during the mid 90's cause it started sucking, and and have been on and off for the last 5 years. I dont ever remember Venom eating brains or eating people, but I haven't played the USM game, and I have barely read anything Ultimate, so that's probably where it is.

Very true, Sean. Spidey was just like a fly to Ock; a nuiscance.

me too, just didn't have the time... i don't know about the USM at all, but from what i hear about it, it sounds stupid.

have you ever read the spidey comics?
have you seen how much dock ock and GG hate spidey?
how many time they each try to ruin his life?
it's just what villains do.

the joker hates batman.
tries to kill him.

lex luthor hates superman.
tries to kill him.

its just the way things go.

Symbiote = badass yes but lets face it , it all depends on whos underneath that symbiote also.

The 90s toon was what got me into Spidey, and I always remember loving GG and thinking Doc Ock was cool. Venom? I just loved the mini-series and his voice. :p
