Villain for the sequel?

I actually have played that role in a different context. I supply parts to a motorcycle manufacturer and there are a number of web-forums devoted to discussing those motorcycles.

I usually just read and don't post, but there have been times that I've seen people posting flip comments about things that I know people have spent many sleepless nights trying to solve and get just right. In some of those cases, I haven't been able to keep completely silent.

That's one reason I try not to post overly negative things here. I know there are real people working on this project (not the caricaturized Fox exec of one of my other posts today), and it's easy to criticize, but a lot harder to actually put something like this together.

So very true.....including the actors...

- how about Diablo in a scene like this -

INT. LONG CORRIDOR - DAY

The stone door explodes as Thing punches his way through. Diablo continues to flee as the Thing pulls a large five foot cube of stone from the floor of the corridor.

THING (cont.)
Hey, c’mon, play fair. You can
tell lookin’ at me that I ain’t
exactly built for winnin’ races.

Thing tosses the stone, blocking Diablo’s escape.

DIABLO
No, you’ve doomed us both!

THING
Wadda ya squawkin’ about now?

DIABLO
You’ve freed the Dragon Man.

THING
What in Sam Hill is a “Dragon Man?”

The hole the Thing has opened in the floor erupts as a huge reptilian creature, DRAGON MAN, bursts from the chamber below. The beast is at least ten feet high, with a long tail, a dinosaur like head, and massive wings on it’s back.

THING (cont.)
I hadda ask.

The monster seizes Thing in it’s giant hand, lifting him from the ground.

INT. SECOND CHAMBER

The crystal cocoons have almost overtaken the other three members of the Fantastic Four, as the effects of the gas wear off.

Reed is the first to react to the impending danger. As his cocoon almost closes around him, he stretches his elastic body free of his would be prison.

REED
Sue, Johnny, you’ve got to escape
while there’s still time.

Sue covers herself with an invisible force field and expands it outwardly, shattering the still growing crystals.

SUE
I’m free, but we’re to late for Johnny!

The crystals close around Johnny as he flames on! His flame burns bright and hot, but the crystal does not yield. However, the floor does and he melts through the stone beneath him.

INT. ABYSS

The inky darkness is shattered by the Torch melting through the ceiling above. He hovers for a moment, looking into the endless void below him.

TORCH
This places gets weirder and weirder.

A blast of flame from his hand starts to melt a second hole in the ceiling above.

INT. SECOND CHAMBER

After a beat, the Torch blasts up through the floor a few feet away from his team mates.

TORCH
That was a little to close, thank
you!

The trio react to the sound of battle coming from the next room.

I'm curious. I've been looking over this thread for quite a bit and I wondered something. Am I the ONLY person who thought of Malice as a villian?!?!

For those who don't know or don't remember. Malice was an alter ego of Sue created by Psycho-Man. This persona hated her family, was born out of Sue's resentment for them. Reed made her invisible, Jonny always stirs the pot, even Ben gets on her nerves some times. Susan loves her family to much to let these 'quarks' let her do anything harmful to her loved ones. But Malice is pure resentment.

Why I think she'd be a great villian in the movie? Well the thing about Fantastic four... It's a story of a super hero family. They don't wear masks, they live very publicly and while they make mistakes they always try to fix it.

In my opinion of you want a good Comic movie then you need to look at the deeper part of what makes the comic what it is. X-men; Popular today because of being Gay; about choice and being differnt; individuality. Spider Man; We all have sort of a secret side of ours selves; Love story, one girl eternal; we put a lot of pressure on ourselves to work hard and for what? On the other hand, movies like Hulk, while still having the psychological angle lack any substance. Now Hulk was okay but it was more about the dual personality. What I liked about the Hulk was the 'lonliness of the beast'. But that might inprove if they make a sequal, who knows. Dare Devil and Elctra on the other hand.... Well, I'll try not to speak ill.. :o

Sorry, a little off topic. Anyway the point I'm getting at is, if they want to make a great Fantastic Four then it should be about the Family. That's why I think the next villian should be Malice, mistress of hate. Because it's very real and very family.

Guess I rambled a bit. Sorry. :O

I like that idea

Family / work together as a family / and open about it.

Introducing Malice would be perfect - why?

Malice = More Alba

2 for 1 special :)

My thoughts are it has to be Doom. Nothing else works. Unless you are a die hard FF fan, none of the other villans work. Galactus makes no sense, if they are going to use him, it would be in the rumored Vin Diesel project, Silver Surfer.

The way I see it, they welded Doom into a metal statue. Thats where they left his ass. Thats enough to make anyone go completely mad a vengeful don'tcha think? He manages to make his way back to Latveria, rules with an Iron Fist (pun intended) and seeks not only world domination because of his GOD complex, but his deep seeded hatred for FF push him towards their imminant annihilation.

One problem though, they kinda shot themselves in the foot. They don't have Doom in an iron suit and welded solid, the rays changed his DNA to a metal alloy stronger than adamantium, HIS ENTIRE BODY WAS STEEL, how does he get the joints unwelded to move again. I don't understand that aspect. But in the immortal words of one Stan Lee...

'Nuff Said!

But don't worry, the real superhero is on his way: :supes:

Nice!

im going to say that dr.Doom will need to come back if they ant chance to save this franchise anyone like mole man would be a good filler in a longer movie.

good filler characters other than mole man? any ideas

I'm interested in the Skrull Kill Krew TV series. Hopefully they'll introduce them at the end of FF3.

Need I say more. Terrax in FF or SS movies would cheer me up no end. I`d prefer him in a FF movie though as his abilities seem rather good in opposition to the FF as opposed to just a one on one clash with SS. On the other hand storywise he is better as a SS opponent as he is the violent, happily murderous herald while SS is the thinking, caring ex-herald.

Malice Mistress of Hate would be a terrific villian plus by having this villian there will be more screen time for Jessica Alba!

i think that's a great idea ,I would love to see how that will turn out to be. I bet it would be great.:word: :ff:
