I don't want the Riddler to be a serial killer, in the sense that he persoanlly kills people. Sure, his actions could result in people dying, but him hunting down and killing gothamites? Nah, that's not him, imo.

yeah I could see Riddler killing people who get in his way by shooting them. But not a serial killer.

I feel Zsasz was wasted in Begins because he would have made an amazing cerebral villain who is also very dark. He is such a dark character that TAS could not use him. He is perfect for Nolan in every sense but the problem is that he was in Begins. Yeah it was a nice little nod to the fans but in the long run it more than likely prevents him from appearing again because he was just sort of a off hand reference/cameo(unless they get the bald guy back and that is unlikely)

I don't mean Riddler actually killing!,I meant using riddles and IF people guess wrong....They die.

Example....Two cops goes to a crime scene with a dead victim and on the body there's a note with a Riddle about shotguns But the cops gets it wrong....Two shot-guns pop out from somewhere and shoots them while The Riddler sees it all by a spy cam and he controls the guns or whatever!.

Ohh that would actually be a decent idea(not big on that example but a good concept)

btw, Giankin, what do you think about Joker? Should be return?

Bane is tricky. you need someone with a body like Ahnuld's, but wwho can act. I mean, they should pull a Vader: Get Brock Lesnar from UFC in a mask, get a real actor to voice him and voila. Bane.
I always thought that Dalip Singh could pull off the body and Javier Bardem could voice him.

so you want the SAW killer in a green suit?
i feel that approach is uninspired

Ridler shouldnt be a serial killer, not in even a vague sense. criminal yes, perhaps if someone doesnt answer a riddle, they are robbed or something idk, but not killed

LOL that sounds like something the Frank Gorshin Riddler would do. "You didn't answer the riddle, now hand over the diamonds and pearls b****!":funny:

Hey, i didnt get detailed, I'd imagine something intimidating perhaps, but not a serial killer, that idea just gets on my nerves

I agree people should ditch the whole SAW approach....

"so theres' these twos cops rights? and theres a riddle abouts a shotguns rights?"

.....sounds like Fred Flintstone telling a bad joke to Barney Rubble mixed with a Saw film..

maybe i used the wrong example, but he SAW approach is just like i said, uninspired

Riddler: Riddle me this, riddle me that. What happened when Napoleon broke his leg?
Woman: I don't know...
Riddler: He tore his bone apart.
Woman: haha, I get it.
Riddler: No you didn't or you would have answered the riddle. Now hand over the diamonds b**** and let me pee on you.

*camera pans to floor*- green pee going into the drainage.

KALMART! this is the Riddler I want to see!

pee's on there bums

Riddle me.......

I agree ,he should be nothing like the villain from Saw

, I like The Riddler smart, but not to elegant..

I love how he was in The Long Halloween kind of pathetic but still smart Batman knows he's smart he's just kindof a b!%@#.. The mob will use him for help figuring things out, cops will. Batman even goes to him for information

I wouldn't mind him being along these lines at all. Someone publicly saying he can solve any crime and being obsessed with riddles and crime scenes, even creating fake crime scenes to lure Batman out where agry mobsters or cops would be

wo knows if there is any mob still in gotham but Id rather him be like this than a serial killer. or Killer in general just a thorn in Batmans side..

maybe he could piece together Harvey Dent did kill those people and though Batman would try stopping him from letting this go to the public in the end they might accept Batman is their dark knight

If Riddler is to be a main character he can't be as wimpy as in TLH. In TLH he was constantly terrified. The Riddler should be confident and intimidating mentally, if he is to be a main villain. Thing is, very few comics nail the Riddler as a main character. he's usually just the slime ball with a small role. TAS nailed him perfectly as a main antagonist. You've got to believe that he can best Batman mentally. He made a decent supporting character in TLH but he was too cowering. There was another thread somewhere and people mentioned the best comics featuring Riddler.

I wouldn't want him as the main villain,

But I do want to see him

i also like the idea, maybe at fake crime scenes he leaves clues to the fact that Harvey was two face after he finds out, trying to get other cops and the media to figure it out

I thought we had confirmation that Riddler was main villain of B3...or was that just rumor?

TAS did a good job but he only had 3 episodes where he was the main antagonist other than that he just sat in the background like in "Trial"

and even as the main antagonist he pretty much sat behind a computer like in "if your so smart why arn't you rich?"

then he had that other episode.. can't remember the name where Gordon was aging infront of a computer screen the whole episode.. and then there was "Riddlers reform"...

It was fine for the cartoon but I don't want something like this in the next film..

I don't even know what other character Id want in the next film along with Riddler

^Current rumor is Riddler and Catwoman. It's what people are most big on right now but who knows.

But all this time I thought Riddler was confirmed. just a bunch of bunk, lies.

I was reading about the Mad Hatter on wikipedia cause I really don't know too much about him besides TAS & his small apearances in TLH & Dark Victory, and people on SHHH boards mentioned he wasn't allowed to be used in The Batman cause he was possibly going to be in BB.

Anyways I saw this

One Year Later/Secret Six
Tetch was revealed to have been involved in the plot by The Great White Shark to frame Harvey Dent for murdering various Gotham criminals in the Detective Comics storyline Face The Face. The capacity in which he was involved is left vague, however.

^anyways something like this would be cool in the next film I think it doesn't even have to be mad hatter it could be the Riddler I just thought it could fit even though it wouldn't be framing considering Harvey did kill those people in TDK

just an idea anyways

We need a strong villain, or at least the main villain, to conclude the trilogy.

Mad Hatter would be okay for a minor villain, but not a main one.
