And for those who say Darkseid should only appear in a New Gods film, that doesn't make any sense. Have Darkseid go up against the boy in blue and if his character is really that popular with the audience (which I'm sure he will be) have a spinoff film.
Originally, I thought that Darkseid was too "out there" for a Superman film, but then I thought 'forget that, I wanna see some kickass fighting"
I don't care whether or not Singer wants to use him or not, he deserves to be in the film. And for those who say Darkseid should only appear in a New Gods film, that doesn't make any sense. That's the trouble with Darkseid - you bring him into the Superman movie franchise, you just as well end the franchise at that. He's that big a menace.
What episode is that from?
Superman has beaten him by himself (S:TAS finale, Legacy). And since Darkseid is such a grand threat, don't introduce all of his minions (Kalibak, Steppenwolf, Furies, Granny, etc.) to nusance Superman. Just have Darkseid lead an army of parademons. The world's armed forces can handle those and that leaves Darkseid for Superman.
Its from Brainiac Attacks (the DTV)
Bruce Timm was not involved in Braniac Attacks, hence why it sucked.Timm (the Man) drop the ball with that one.![]()
Mongul is actually more of a Superman villain, though. Darkseid is a JLA threat, so him being put in a Superman movie would result in him being powered down.Darkseid is far superior compared to Mongul.
