since you haven't got enough of us telling you the truth...
I quote this just to point put the irony of you using the word Truth.
First thing first, the sadism I have been complaining that singer trying to sell it hard in SR (he even sells it in all the trailers) and thats a shame and immoral. In this movie, there is nothing about trust, justice and
all that stuffs. (lex luthor will be back and have more fun with his kryptonite tools)
First lie.
The movie is about Superman re-gaining people's and Lois' trust, which he accomplishes, he even helps the totally unknown girl (who happens to be Kitty.) Superman made justice by stopping Luthor and Lex received the best justice by ending in an island, no gas for the chopper, his plans ruined and his yatch sunk no matter how much money he had.
There's a lot of truth, justice and all that stuff.
secondly, Singer has make Superman an arrogant and selfish loser.
Second lie.
Superman wins in every field here, which makes him not a loser. He sacrifices himself to save the world, which makes him not selfish and he isn't telling the world how cool he is, so he's not arrogant.
He chose to leave the world, not considering his very old mother,
Yes, he did. It was she who had problems because, as every mother, she would have prefered not to let him go. For that matter, every man who decides to be a catholic priest is not considering his mother's desires to have a grandson. Or every man who decides to be a policeman is not considering his mother's feelings because she'll live afraid that his son could die.
But a man has to do what a man has to do. Superman's motivations about his Kryptonian roots were more important than his mother's fears.
Again, a man has to do what a man has to do.
It would have been nice if he said good-bye, as I've admitted in many other threads. This was his only big mistake and I critizise it too. It was unnecesary.
and the people who trust him.
The people who trust him should get that Superman is not being paid or has no moral duty for caring for the world. He does it because he wants to, no other reason. Superman has no legal or moral bound to people, so they can't complain.
But if we insist in considering it a betrayal to people's trust, it's the same than in Superman II, so as a vague sequel, SR is consistent with this incarnation of the character.
When he returned, he couldnt get along too well. He complained that people move on without him.
Third lie.
No, he didn't. He was shocked, but never complained.
When he knew that his mother has moved on, he went for Lois for a reason to stay on earth.
Fourth lie.
He didn't went to Lois because of what his mother did. He went to Lois because he has an unresolved issue there. And even when he knew Lois had moved on, that didn't make him to leave Earth again, so he wasn't looking in Lois a reason to stay, which makes this your
Fifth lie.
He has never been grateful for lois that she has moved on and having a very good family. He complained about her instead. I thought a girl like her would never settle down
Is that why he thought he could have sex with her?
Sixth lie. What he thought about what Lois did, doesn't make it a complain.
He just was shocked that Lois moved on by having a son. Superman thought she would never become a mother because it was a thing she never was interested in before.
And they had sex because they were in love.
He used all his amazing powers to do the wonders to catch loiss attention and to stalk, spy and eavesdrop lois for his personal gain. He has never tried to understand her.
He uses his powers to defend people. It's Lois' problem if she's as shallow as to fall in love because he's able to do such amazing things. Which - by the way - has been this way since STM.
And since STM Superman has been using his powers in order to know what Lois think. Being secretly Clark kent and hiding the truth from Lois has helped him since the first movie to know things from Lois and then ude them as Superman. Immoral? Okay, but consistent with previous movie.
And what did Superman gain by hearing what she said in SR?
While in the rooftop, he has never cared about how she was doing the past 5 year.
He already knows. And she explained to him why people and herself have moved on.
He wanted her to understand him instead.
Nothing wrong with that.
And he cared only his reputation; the article.
He cared for Lois' feelings. His reputation was totally re-gained when he saved the plane.
He couldnt wait to bring her up and tell her that she was wrong; the world was still desperate for him. So that he could have a reason to stay.
It wasn't about her being wrong, but about putting in his shoes (boots) of being someone who everybody cares about but just because he's able to do such amazing things. And that includes Lois, who cries for his love but hasn't ever been sensitive enough to realize the despises Superman once he is not in his shiny suit showing his powers.
When he finally realized that he was really alone; Krypton was in debris, Martha moved on, Lois having good life, Richard risking his family to save him, his crystals were stolen and seeing himself couldnt relate to the earth just as the alien continent, he gave up his life and committed suicide.
Seventh lie.
He didn't commit suicide or he would have stabbed with the kryptonite stick himself. He was trying to save the Earth.
(He was saving the millions of people in Metropolis! No.
Eight lie.
Yes, he was.
we didnt see anyone in danger at all after the little vibration.
Ninth lie.
There was giant neon signs falling, gas explosions, debris falling all over. And we all saw that. Not to mention that if NK would have kept growing the devastation in Metropolis, USA and the whole world would have been lots worse.
And it was just Lexs theory.
Sure, if a giant continent grown in the Pacific that wouldn't change anything in Earth balance, the new continent wouldn't fill any space and it wouldn't displace enormous amounts of water to the already existing continents. That was pure Lex's delirium.
It might not work that way as we had seen crystal didnt keep on expanding to build FOS.)
It's not what we see in SR. And tthe FOS crystal was green not transparent so it's possible its characteristics would have been different.
And even if nothing of the obvious stuff here, even if the earthquake that happened and Superman accomplished to stop, is actually true, still Superman sacrificed himself just IN CASE it could be dangerous for people. In no case constitutes evidence of suicide.
Fortunately Lois came and told him that he wasnt alone in the hospital. And he lastly got a reason to carry on his life. And thats how Superman returns.
Yes... so?
Yes, this is the worst superman story I have ever seen.
Considering how hard you distort evident truth and lie to yourself and to the rest, that's not much of a surprise.
So now I explain myself - since when you're not writing complains you're forced to lie nine times in a post in order to make your points - why you were so skeptical to actually make them.
Please, I'd like very much to ridicule you and your posture but if you do it yourself, then you steal all the fun from me.
