and Patrick Warburton as Superman!

I met the guy and I told him he'd be perfect as Superman, he said yeah but they're going with a younger version. I then told him but there's the Alex Ross version an older Superman, he then seemed interested. He's good frinds with Seinfeld who's a big fan of Superman maybe Seifeld can pull a few strings at WB.
Here's a funny.

I just got Painter installed on my new Macbook Pro, and got this after poking around with my Wacom for a few minutes. This is kind of how I imagine Brainiac looking in a Superman movie.

agreed

there is an opportunity for the right director to come on board, take this sequel and make a cracking sci fi epic.

have brainiac on new krypton and watch him slug it out with superman.
make superman bleed, watch him suffer badly.

and make it as violent as possible, just like TDK where guns were used to great effect.

make brainiac give superman a psychological breakdown and make him fight like a dog.

we want to see hardcore punching, and plenty of action and graceful flying.

and we want to see it done with that big rig that they made, and not cgi for every damn scene.

it is very possible to make a superman movie that will appeal to everyone, WB have to take their fingers out of their asses to see that first.

there is no reason why a budgeted movie of 150 to 170 can make more than 300+ domestic and more internationally.

The only way you will get all that is in a reboot, support a reboot its the way forward.

I would support this guy as Superman or Captain Marvel.

You're not a Superman fan. :oldrazz:

And TimStuff, that was an interesting design on Brainiac. I kinda like it.

They need to go with Geoff Johns' version of Brainiac with Singer directing and have Routh doing this...

Patrick Warburton as Superman = Adam West as Batman.

Eh, fix his hair a little bit and he'd probably make a good Clark, at least...

...but I don't know if he'd be able to overcome his comedic stigma as well as Keaton did with Batman. For some reason I imagine Warburton in the cape and tights and keep seeing him as falling somewhere between Alex Ross's renderings and George Reeves' portrayal.

I personally would really like a supes movie where superman is kinda powered down a bit. I want every movie to feel like he's at risk of dying by a villians hand & mind. Since seeing Hancock, I really liked the idea of a scene where Superman is weakened & can only leap to get to safety rather then fly & then on his last attempt he soars off into the sky screaming headed towards the sun to replenish & gather strength. It would emotionally be powerfull & it would also be a good nod to the early days when Superman could only leap & not fly.

EWWW! NO, I don't see it. He is too ugly for the part.

Heh! He isn't ugly, but his look is too off for Supes neverless. He has more of a goofy hero look than the kind of Supes. That why he was great as the Tick on the short live tv show. Too bad FOX didn't keep it going, 'cause it has promise. :(

Been working on a drawing on what I want from Brandon.. almost finished.

Not bad at all. I like to see more. Can you show a front face shot of Routh's Supes? :)

I plan on drawing a few front shots of him soon, don't have one yet. Buuut.. here's several of my other non-Supe art.

Man, I wish I could draw that well.

Thanks.. it hasn't been easy, mostly because i haven't had great reference shots for it.
