Yeah I'm starting to like the sound of Darkseid as well, it could make for one of the greatest onscreen battles of all time... if done right

I also hear that they will be pouring millions into the project, seeing that they are making less films.
Few things I'll like to see in the reboot:

no homage to the donner movies. sorry a helicopter and lois lane inside is a homage to S:TM.
we can be more original then that.

i said homage to donner.Well, then, that would pretty much dismiss any scene of any kind involving any sort of aircraft. Heck, why don't we just say that Kal-El was teleported to Earth as a baby instead of putting him in a spaceship?![]()
Please, the only people that would associate that with Donner are the ones that in their late 30s or Donner fans.no homage to the donner movies. sorry a helicopter and lois lane inside is a homage to S:TM.

No one in the newer generations would even recognize the similar scenes.
Who's art is that/what comic is it from?
What makes you give this absurd statement? Everybody has seen Superman? No, not in the least. They might know of him, recognize Reeve, or even seen some bits of the movie itself. But I'd hardly say these past generations have seen the entire film, much less recognize a scene in it.Sorry but no, it's Superman fans that wouldn't associate it with Donner. It's everybody else who will...because EVERYBODY has seen Superman. For many people in the "newer generations" Donner Superman is all they know.
the same could be said for SRs homages. teh copyed dialoge. Please, the only people that would associate that with Donner are the ones that in their late 30s or Donner fans.

Donner's films are ancient now. And as a genre classic as it may be, it's not like kids these days grow up on that movie, like say E.T.
Lex Luthor: Man of Steel.
My favorite Superman comic. The next panel is even cooler. Superman is seen through Lex's eyes so he is always much darker looking. The whole comic is dark in the right way.
