I noticed this in the trailer but someone on 7webhead's page was talking about. Is this what Marc Webb meant when he said "think bigger...."

I think u get to see the vulture in the 3 poster image that was shown a few days ago.

Think it's pretty clear judging by this that the villains in TASM3 will be Doc Ock, Vulture, and Goblin (again, probably Norman's Goblin instead of Harry's though). So the Sinister Six in TASM4 should be:

Lizard
Electro
Rhino
Vulture
Doc Ock
Green Goblin

And maybe Peter gets the symbiote, which was a part of his dad's research, to have enough power to take them all on.

Anyone else think the mysterious man in the fedora might be chameleon? He was in the first ASM, also they are telling the story of Peter's parents and it seems like they will show their deaths (plane crash). In the trailer you see somebody younger fighting Richard Parker, is this a younger chameleon? He is a secret agent in the comics too, right?

Chameleon was my first choice but it'd make more sense for him to be The Gentlemen. Since he's alluding to the Six so much.

the more i read and think about it seems to make the most sense of him being the gentleman...now doctor octopus and the vulture just can go grab their gear and suit up....because they always wanted to play an octopus and a vulture? i mean what kind of introduction to a villain is this? will they be part of the movies anyhow or will it remain an easter egg?

Cool easter egg but I don't want Oscorp to be involved with everything.

Oscorp is the nucleus to the Webbiverse.

I'm sorry to be the one to break it to you, but at this point we can all assume that will be the case.

I think supervillains and their tehnology can come only from those who have power and money for playing God, conduct genetic experiments on animals and as we seen humans in ASM to create some kind of super solider serum.

Even if at beggining everything was created help society (when Richard Parker worked in Oscorp), but it turned to be other way around as Richard know this was too dangerous tehnology if it falls in wrong hands for someone selfish purpouses (read Osbourne). So i like what Webb trying to do.

Yurka told us about the Doc Ock and Vulture cameos well before the trailer hit and said
a Venom symbiote will also appear.

What if the S6's remaining baddies (Ock? Vulture? Mysterio???) are currently locked up already behind those doors, and Oscorp is keeping their main weapons locked up until the big day...

Then Spidey can use the symbiote (because it does appear right?!) and use the suit to defeat the team, then for TASM4, we can have film with Venom and such.

It's great that they are now using the freaking cameos wisely! :D Can't wait for Vulture and Electro.

i doubt we will even see them in the future movies, but if so then not until the end of the third. dont they need time to establish them atleast a bit?

I admire the world building in the Webbverse. Stuff just there in the background, without big "hey look at this!" signs all around it. The Norman Osborn CG rendering in TASM, along with the Daily Bugle mastheads. The posters on Peter's wall showing his interests, etc.

Why would Ock arms and Vulture wings be in cases? Ock builds the tentacles to help him with experiments...why would they already be in glass cases?

Maybe that's where the tentacles go when they're not being used. Or maybe Otto wasn't the one to build them in this universe. I could see these arms being used in the military as well, like the Vulture Wings and the Rhino suit. Maybe one of its purposes is to disarm bombs from a distance.

Perhaps this is a obsolete prototype?

Or quite possibly, Oscorp requires him to leave it at the office when he goes home. That wouldn't be a bad idea.
